“Nashville heat done right.”

Stopped by Hattie B’s in Franklin after a morning of running Roadie routes, and man… this plate was the reset button I didn’t know I needed.

I ordered the tenders with greens and a side of comeback sauce—simple combo, but they executed it like pros. The tenders were perfectly fried with that signature Nashville crunch, juicy on the inside, and seasoned with enough kick to make you blink twice but still dive right back in. Pickles on top were crisp and refreshing, cutting through the heat like they were born for the job.

The greens? Legit. Slow-cooked, seasoned right, not too salty, not too bitter—just that soulful, steady flavor that tastes like somebody’s auntie was back there watching the pot.

And that comeback sauce? Dangerous. Smooth, tangy, a little smoky, a little spicy—had no right being that addictive. I could’ve dipped my whole future in it.

Service was quick, food came out hot, and the Franklin location is clean, calm, and easy to vibe in. If you’re running gigs, passing through, or just need a solid meal that’ll lift your spirit and warm your chest, this Hattie B’s hits the spot every time.

Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

My kids & I are visiting from FL & they LOVE spicy chicken. So of course, Hattie B’s was the place to go. I don’t like spicy so I tried their side of waffles and OMG I am hooked! They are perfectly cooked with crispy outside & soft inside. The powdered sugar is a sweet addition. Their whipped honey is mmmmm good!
Also the Pimento Mac-n-Cheese was unique and delish. Kids loved it which surprised me.
Highly recommend

Visited Franklin from Kansas, we asked for a recommendation for hot chicken & our friend sent us to Hattie’s. It was so good! We got mild because we were unsure how hot everything would be. We could have definitely gone with hot, so if you like spice go ahead and skip mild! Sides & fried pickles were also delicious!

We had to try Nashville’s famous hot chicken during our trip, so we stopped by Hattie B’s in Franklin after hearing all the hype. We also tried Prince’s, which is known as the original Nashville hot chicken, but honestly, it doesn’t even come close to the quality and flavor of Hattie B’s.

This was hands down the best chicken we’ve ever had. Every piece was juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to absolute perfection. We still can’t stop talking about how good it was!

The Franklin location was also perfect for us, just outside of the busy downtown Nashville scene. It had a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and was easy to get to.

We can’t wait to visit again the next time we’re in town. Hattie B’s is a must-try and truly lives up to its reputation!

We didn’t know anything about tis chain so our friends highly recommended it. We didnt want to wait for an additional 15′ of cooking a half chicken or thighs so grabbed a quick order b4 heading to the airport.

The chicken tenders with a medium spicy: 4/5 – very juicy for chicken tenders, well seasoned, great flavors and not salty like other chains, the breading was light medium, not heavy nor thick, spicy and delicious. It went well with the Come back sauce. We were so glad to be talked into it.

The black peas salad: 3/5 – very good and refreshing. Not doused in dressing, not too sweet nor vinegary. It is very similar to a cowboy caviar salad .

It was fun

The hype is have heard about Hattie B’s is on point! I saw this restaurant in Erik the Electrica food video Electric eats the world #4. The staff were super friendly! My order came out quick! I got the mild fried chicken sandwhich and pimento mac n cheese. The sandwhich was a really good portion. The chicken was moist, flavorful, and awesome! Their mac n cheese was on point too! Will come here again and try the spicy chicken next time!

Came here from the recommendation of a friend. Incredible! We tried the hot sandwich, fries, mac n cheese, greens and grits. So good we can’t wait to come back. Definitely worth all the hype surrounding it. We came in with high hopes and they delivered.

Update – if you haven’t tried their weekend breakfast you’re missing out. Hot Chicken pimento bacon and egg biscuit is incredible.

Update – another tasty meal and another cold beer 🙂

This place is hands down my favorite Hot Chicken joint. Great location with a wonderful service. Everyone is kind and helpful and seems passionate about what they do. I’ll definitely be back for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 😉

Stopped by on my way back from seeing my friend, and was pleased with the quality of the food, especially the creamy macaroni and cheese, despite that my order was initially given to the wrong guest. As this was at a busy factory, parking was somewhat difficult to find, but I found a decent spot luckily that was not too far from Hattie B’s. Restaurant was crowded, as Hattie B’s is mostly based in Nashville, but still worth making at stop at if passing by the Nashville area.
