Went to Hate Mondays Tavern for the first time yesterday and it was a solid experience. I love trying different food items that I wouldn’t usually try so I went with the smoked salmon melt and it was pretty good. Flavor and cook was on point, the pan con bistec was pretty solid as well. It definitely needed a better crunch tho the classic thin chips would’ve been perfect. The truffle Parmesan fries were good as well. Service was good nothing spectacular but not terrible. The ribs are very good as well but I expected them to be a bit more tender more fall off the bone. The brisket tostones were a standout for me the smoky brisket balanced with the onions, sauce, and crunch of the tostone was perfect.

Came here with few friends after biking. Love the uniqueness as definitely the food was delicious. Everything had flavor and good size portions. Pan con bistec was super flavorful along with the potato salad. Will come again and try other things on the menu.

What a cool spot…. Oh and the food was Amazing. We had the ribs and the brisket. Both just great. Topped off with fired oreos, who could go wrong. Staff was friendly and engaging. It’s a hole. In the wall that’s well worth the visit. Will definitely be back

If I was able to give Hate Mondays 20 ⭐️ I definitely would. This tavern was by far the best bbq spot in west Kendall. Chef Karl is such an amazing person and chef. He really goes above and beyond what he stands for in the art of cooking. Service in the restaurant was amazing. Whom ever reads this review. I don’t care what you’re doing. But you have to stop by Hate Mondays and try the food. The smoke wings were delicious and just perfectly cooked. The loaded fries omg were amazing. I would have posted a pic of the pork belly. But unfortunately it didn’t last long enough. And to top it off I ordered a smoked turkey. It looks amazing and I can’t wait to devour it. Thanks Karl!!!! Oh yea, almost forget! The Brisket was so good forgot to take a picture.

The definition of hole in the wall restaurant!! Don’t let the location drive you away. The food is absolutely amazing. Great BBQ in a very unexpected location. We ordered the Brisket, short ribs and baby back ribs. All were delicious tender and on point. I will be back if I’m ever in the area.

This has to be one of the top BBQ brisket spots in Miami. I ordered the brisket loaded fries which was made PERFECT! Very delicious meal and amazing attention to detail by the cooking staff. My plus 1 ordered the Bean burger with a side of fries which was also do very well. Our server Lourdes was very attentive and accommodating to our questions too! I always leave here with good vibes and full stomach! 10/10

This place is mind blowing! Everything is so unique and so so great! I highly recommend multiple trips to try multiple things. Once you try there food and see the atmosphere you will become an instant regular! I will see you there on Saturday mornings!

Very cool atmosphere inside. I would have never expected a BBQ spot at this location let alone an absolutely AMAZING bbq spot! But don’t go here on your lunch break if you’re in a rush!! This place gets busy very fast! This is some of the best big not thee best bbq I’ve had since moving to Miami a few years ago.

I love this place, this the OG to Miami bbq in my mind. Literal hole in the wall spot, and the vibe is solid. Fire bbq, best I’ve had in the area for sure, hands down. As in Florida, and even in general. All the food is smoky, plenty of meat on the ribs or wings and no cartilage on the ribs. Straight meat. Beers are all sourced from Florida and from small brewers even which I think is awesome.
