Been coming here for years. Even had my 39th birthday here since it has a nice playground for the kids to play. Food is always great and never had a complaint. On Thursdays they have 2$ beer drafts so that’s a great deal. The staff is friendly and always helpful. Never had a bad experience.

The service, food, and atmosphere is great! Fantastic place to bring your kids if you’re trying to talk and hang out as adults. Even better, gluten free and keto options. They have dedicated fryers cooked in beef tallow as well! Great place!

This was a fun place with enough space for kids to freely play. It was the perfect gathering place for the kid’s soccer team after a game! The food was delicious and I appreciated the Keto friendly options on the menu! The kid’s meal was a good size and came with a perfectly sized milkshake not overtly excessive!

Great tasting food! Came out extremely fast but tasted hot and fresh. Tried a variety of menu items everything was delicious. There is a kids playground, and outdoor seating. Only con was the restrooms they could have used some love.

The folks at Hat Creek are super friendly from the time you walk in the door. The hardest part of being here is the selection. They have good salads in addition to really good burgers and chicken sandwich as well. Hat Creek also stands out because they do a great job of accommodating to the family. The outside area is comfortable with ceiling fans and there is an adjoining play area for the kids. Good place, good food, good people.

Love this place! The margaritas are strong and the playground keeps the kiddos busy for hours. Honestly the burgers are alright ( like a 7.2) but that’s not why we go. The tvs, outdoor seating and the playground keeps us coming back! It’s like a bar for the family. The fried pickles are delicious!

I have lived in Buda for many years and for whatever reason had never stopped in to our local Hat Creek. I started hearing them advertising on one of my favorite sports radio shows/podcasts Bucky & BK so I decided to give them a try a couple weeks ago. First time I went I got the Big Hat and fries and the second time I got the Big Hat and chips and queso. Both times excellent food and service. Last time I was in I spoke with the general manager Royer and told him about my experiences and how I found them. He is a good guy and keeps everything running smoothly and really cares about the customer experience.

I have eaten at Hat Creek a lot, and it is usually ok. Today, 2-12-26 at 11:30am I ordered 2 adult meals and a kids meal in the drive through. It cost me $45 and the burgers were subpar at best. The patty’s were extremely dry and had no flavor at all, even the southwest burger. The burger was so dry, through a mouthful of jalapeños, cheese, and southwest sauce, I could still taste and feel the dry texture of the patty. I threw half a burger away. The death of that cow was wasted because your cook is unable to properly cook a burger. The fries, sweet and regular were pretty good. That’s why I’m giving 2 stars.

This was our first visit to the Buda location and we were not disappointed! There is ample space to get together with a large group of friends and/or family. The store was very clean and presentable. We came about an hour before closing on a Saturday night and it was nice to have the place to ourselves for dinner! We were greeted by Ruby, who was very sweet when taking our order. We decided to both get the Southwest Burger combo and it was delicious! Fair pricing for the quality and serving size and speedy service, too! Will definitely go back again. On our way out we saw that they do breakfast as well, so I’m excited to try that, too!
