A blast from the past! Nice “Mom and Pop” diner feel with great prices. Attentive service and a cozy atmosphere. Food portions are generous for the price. There is a wait sometimes, but it is well worth it.

The food was pretty good! I loved the pecan pancakes the most. The rest of the food tasted like someone’s grandma was back there cooking. It was very homemade feeling. I’d be back for their pancakes! I wasn’t personally a fan of the biscuit and gravy. Some of the biscuits were hard. The bacon was good. The eggs weren’t cooked scrambled like I wanted, but they were still good.
The atmosphere was very much like stepping into the 90s. The waitresses were attentive, and I feel like we got a lot of food for less than $40.

Stopped in for breakfast with some friends after a soccer match. Despite showing up at 10am, the wait for an 8 person table wasn’t too bad at all. Our server immediately greeted us and took our drink orders. Our food arrived quickly and as ordered, which is always great to see. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and left with full stomachs. Portion sizes were perfect. We’ll be sure to make a return trip in the near future. I highly suggest eating here!!

Was hesitant to try this place from the outside look of the building and its location, however, it had more good reviews than compared to a high-end place that was triple the price. Decided to give it a try.
Location isn’t the worst but could be better, inside appeared to not be updated in decades, but wasn’t dilapidated. Decor was various antique memorabilia. The menu consisted of breakfast to dinner meals and the highest price was under $15. Very reasonable pricing on all items and all home cooked foods. Service was excellent and the food was quite good. Very good portion size, tasty, and great value!

Food was DELICIOUS and the prices excellent for the portion sizes.
Service was quick and friendly, the only part I didnt care for was the crispy bacon exploded into powder in my mouth. Absolutely lovely shop, and a great experience. We can’t wait to go back!

Finally!! Moved to Dayton from Southern Oregon. Have not been able to find a good Ma an Pa place to eat in 2.5 yrs. This place wins! Hands Down the best Hasty Tasty. Thank you for being affordable to boot!
