It’s a local favorite fast food drive-thru place for many. The ice cream is decent, and my kids seem to really like it. Their grilled cheese I thought was going to be better but it literally is just a couple of hamburger buns with some cheese melted in the middle. Not worth the money. If you’re looking for something fast and easy, the line is usually super backed up and it takes them a long time to get through any customers, So if you’re in a hurry maybe skip this place. But if you have a second to sit in line, again the ice cream is really good.

Ordered two deluxe burgers an oni ring French fry and butterscotch shake and rootbeer float. The float was good but had a bunch of blue from the m sprinkles? Um not cool, someone’s rushing or not cleaning the ice cream scoop. Fries were good. Burgers swere smashed and beef was very very thin. This was a deluxe, not impressed. No idea how the onion rings were since we got an order of fries instead of them. The butterscotch shake was horrible, did not taste like butterscotch, extremely sweet. Won’t be going back

Drive thru line wasn’t too bad and walk up window was open. Good burgers and fries

The female worker was extremely rude to us when taking our order. Food was subpar, the chicken tenders and fries were clearly just frozen food stuck in a fryer. Best part of the meal was the ‘chocolate’ Sunday. (Vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce, after I asked for chocolate ice cream)
The atmosphere of the shop is the nicest part about it, it definitely feels out of the fifties. Pricing was fair as well (13$ for chicken and fries and a large sundae)

Finally got around to trying this place out, and it’s great! Burgers are delicious and salted just right, and they’re one of the few places you can still get good onion rings at. Everything on the menu is dirt cheap too, why go to a corporate fast food restaurant? Good old school vibes as well.

Great old school burgers, fries, and onion rings, shakes and such, but it always hits the spot, and there must be a reason it’s been around since the 1950’s right?! If you’re not from the area you have to try it if you want an original Albany delight that has been a constant for generations of locals and travelers alike, you won’t regret it unless you forget it!

Where do I start?
Milkshake was great.
Fries were good except way too much salt.
Hamburger…really? Better burgers for the price all day long at some many other restaurants
They were so much better decades ago.

Business was cruising along at a brisk pace. Cheeseburger and fries were hot and delicious and promptly served by the fine young woman in the window. This is what we old timers refer to as Old-fashioned food and service. The folks working today deserve a raise for their fine, professional manner. I will be back.
