I gave 3 starts due to the fact that the food was delicious. But not having soap in the mens restroom is unacceptable not only was the dispenser empty but it also had a dead battery. The signs everywhere telling employees to wash their hands is useless.

Friday night walleye beer battered, pan fried or broiled is a win. Comes with soup/salad bar, choice of potato & roll. EXCELLENT. We have also tried the Chicken fried steak breakfast. This is a go to as often as we can. We are not locals. Prices are where they should be. You shouldn’t be disappointed at all. Buy the goodies on the counter for a road snack. Always friendly, clean & quick.

Love small town places like this. The salad bar is as good as advertised. Try the fried pickles! It’s a spear pickle in an egg roll wrapper with cheese. Local specialty.

Always Great food! Great service which is saying something with only one server. This little place can get busy but is still pretty quick! Salad bar is good and well kept. Homemade soups are always good!

Service was slow, server did not check on us or for refills on drinks. Makes sense since they are all in high school. BLT was good though.

My family and I were passing through and in a fast need of food Hastings came on the list. So happy it did! Our waitress was hospitable and attentive and the food was just as great. We all got burgers and an order of chicken tenders. The burgers were dang good, and my sister was more than satisfied with her tenders. I wish the fries were a tad bit crispier but I’m just being picky at that point. We ordered the jalapeño bites and those were good too. If I lived near by I’d like to try more on the menu but sadly we’re just passing through. Hopefully this place gets more business and prospers! Enjoy y’all, you’ll be happy you stopped by.
