I stopped in for lunch today. Molly was my server. She was super friendly and always seemed to be wearing a smile. I ordered the Turkey BLT WITH Fries and a Mr Pibb. The fries came out hot and fresh. The bread freshly toasted. The Turkey on my BLT was tender and juicy and the bacon added the perfect hint of smoke… like a BLT should. I was very pleased I stopped in. I hear they have some great game-day specials as well. Stop by and check them out.

Unknowingly, we showed up on a Monday which meant $11 burgers! Hard to beat that value. Got whatever they call the spicy burger with jalapeños. Was what you want from a diner burger. We sat on the patio in view of lake. Was a fantastic spot to enjoy the fun atmosphere of Excelsior and people watch.

I enjoyed the casual atmosphere of this place! Good selection of beers (some craft varieties, some classic standards) tequila, delicious food and very friendly bartenders. Plus they have tables available outside. Do I want to sit outside on Excelsior Harbor on a beautiful afternoon? If it’s in Haskell’s then the answer will be an excited yes!

Nice wait staff, good food and drinks with a nice location. I love all that Excelsior has to offer and take advantage the excellent shopping. Everything I need so near my home. Just really enjoy it. An Excelsior institution a block away from Lake Minnetonka, I’ve walked by Haskell’s for years and finally decided to pay them a visit last night. Probably the only dive bar in Excelsior, I appreciated the cheap, yet strong drinks. Food menu was extensive, if unremarkable. Prices for food were high, especially considering the Sysco-esque quality of the frozen fries and chicken tenders. Service was friendly, if albeit very slow. I did notice they’re looking to hire more folks – hopefully they add servers as they go into their busy summer season. Don’t waste your time inside and snag a seat on their outdoor patio. If you can’t find seats there go elsewhere. It’s the only redeeming part of this location.

The food was ok, lacking ingredients in the salad and when I asked about it they said they’d run out ( I wish I would have known that so I could have ordered something else before I got my food) no one requested to change or add anything. Oh well. Outside was packed so I think that impacted our service, our server was not available. We had to keep tracking her down.

Phenomenal! The service was great! The food was AMAZING! We called ahead and made a reservation. Outdoor and indoor dining areas are available now. We were on the side of the building, outdoor seating, it wasn’t too chilly due to the building blocking the wind off the lake.

The food is very reasonable and large portions. Very fresh and delicious! You can tell the cooks were happy when creating their masterpieces!
The atmosphere and energy is extraordinarily friendly. Very inviting, what an exiting time to get to eat out and enjoy friends and family!

I visited on the 4th of July and sat outside to watch the parade. I ordered the prime rib sandwich, it was served quickly and was very good.. The server was nice and although the place was busy she provided quick service.
