Tried Hashtag India Restaurant in Milpitas and honestly loved it! The place has such a fun vibe with their Arabian Mandi-style seating — perfect for hanging out with friends or family.
We ordered a mix of veg and non-veg appetizers — Punugulu, Cut Mirchi, Hashtag Chicken, Guntur Kodi Vepudu, and everything was so flavorful and crispy! The highlight though was the Bahubali Mandi — it’s massive, delicious, and totally worth the hype.
Ended our meal with Kesar Pista Falooda and Choco Caramel Falooda, both super refreshing and the perfect way to finish. The staff was really friendly, and I love that they’re open late — great spot for those late-night cravings!

Had a wonderful dining experience at Hashtag India. The food was absolutely awesome and full of authentic flavors. The Mandi was perfectly cooked and very flavorful, and the RR Chicken was outstanding with just the right balance of spice. The Butter Chicken was rich, creamy, and one of the best I’ve had.
Mango Faluda and Special Faluda were delicious and refreshing. The Mango Lassi was thick, fresh, and perfectly sweet, a great complement to the meal.

We stopped by for takeout after a concert — at 11 PM — and the place was still buzzing, which is usually a great sign. Food was fresh, hot, and came out fast.
Ordered:
• Chicken Biryani – Perfect balance of flavor, fragrant rice, not oily, not overly spicy. Chicken pieces were tender and well seasoned.
• Chicken 65 – Crispy, flavorful, and super satisfying without being greasy or too spicy. One of the best versions I’ve had.
Portion sizes were generous and great value for money. This place has officially gone into my “keeper” list for late-night good food.
Highly recommend — will definitely be back. ✅

Their gravy with the mandi is absolutely delicious. Mandi tasted v good. We ordered chicken fry piece mandi with 2 pieces. It should be enough for 2-3ppl with generous servings. Size of the sides can be a little more. I’m not sure if they give you extra sides for free. Tbh, you don’t need any sides, the flavor of the rice is just enough. It also available for delivery and they have their own app as well which gives you rewards. I also ordered apricot delight from their desserts and it was so good!! Must try.

We ordered veg manchurian (wet) which was spicy, crispy and flavourful (must try). For Mandi we ordered chicken lollipop, mutton ghee roast and hashtag special which was good enough. (1 Mandi can be shared with 2 people) The prices are also pretty decent.
And don’t forget to end the meal with amazing apricot delight (must try). The restaurant gives the Hyderabadi vibes. Best restaurant in the Bay Area.

Just had the most incredible Mandi at Hastag India ✨ Seriously blown away by the Nalli Gosh Mandi —it was juicy, perfectly spiced, and the mutton was so tender. And don’t even get me started on appetizers … absolute perfection for scooping up every last bit of Mandi biryani.
The atmosphere was vibrant, the service was fast and friendly, and everything tasted so fresh. If you’re in the area and craving authentic Indian food, this is your spot. My new favorite! Highly recommend ordering the Bahubali Mega Mandi or Jail Mandi biryani too!

The food was absolutely superb, and the culinary team truly excels at flavor balance. We ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani, and it was perfect—the spice blend was flawless, offering just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming.
The real showstopper was the Hashtag Dosa. This unique take on the classic dosa features a savory mix of fresh vegetables inside instead of the standard potato filling, making it a delightfully unique and refreshing dish that I highly recommend.

Mandi, Biryani, Stuffed mirchi was very good. Best in bay area for Mandi. small onion samosa was not so good. Irani chai was excellent when we took at the beginning of the meal, when we tried at another one end of the meal it was ok. So probably who mixes matters. Very happy with overall food, easily one of the best indian restaurants of bay area.

I tried the Chicken Afghani Mandi and Mutton Nalli Gosht Mandi — both were incredible! I’ve visited other Hashtag branches in places like Austin, Dallas, and Atlanta, and I have to say, the taste here is just as consistent — maybe even slightly better.
The Chikoo Shake is an absolute must-try! It’s super fresh and easily the best one in the Bay Area.
