The only thing I didn’t particularly enjoy was the dessert, but with so many other options on the menu, there’s still plenty left to explore on the next visit.
It’s a great spot to hang out and chill with friends. They offer a variety of seating options, including open seating, cozy Mandi cabins, and even a fun jail-themed cabin, which adds a unique vibe to the experience. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I’d definitely recommend it.
From the moment we walked in, the vibrant decor and super warm, friendly staff made us feel right at home. (Pro tip: Snap a pic at their fun jail-themed table – it’s such a quirky vibe!)
We dove into some incredible appetizers: Crispy Onion Samosas, addictive Chicken Lollipops, spicy Nallikaram Chicken, and the flavorful Mushroom Pepper Fry. Paired it all with refreshing Rose Milk – perfect start!
For mains, we went big with the Nalli Gosht Mutton Mandi and Gobi Mandi. Wow! the mutton was insanely juicy and fall-off-the-bone tender (slow-cooked for over 4 hours!). The rice was perfectly spiced and aromatic, served family-style on those huge platters. They even have authentic Mandi-style floor seating with limited spots, so book ahead or get there early!
Wrapped it up sweetly with the Mango Falooda and the Royal Falooda. Finally, their Irani Chai and Bun Maska, finally a spot in Maryland nailing that perfect chai game!
We tried the Vijayawada Paneer Special Biryani, Cashew Paneer Curry, Nalakaram Chicken, and Chicken Juicy Mandi. The food was absolutely delicious, authentic, and aromatic. The biryani was very flavorful and perfectly cooked. The paneer was incredibly soft, and even the kids enjoyed the food very much.
The Nalakaram Chicken had a unique and distinct taste, which we really loved. The Chicken Juicy Mandi is definitely a must-try dish — the chicken was well-cooked, soft, and smooth, and we liked it a lot.
The Mandi room is a great addition, as it offers a private and comfortable seating space where you can enjoy your meal freely and peacefully. The restaurant’s décor and ambiance are also very nice and welcoming. The staff were polite, friendly, and very helpful throughout our visit.
Visiting this restaurant truly made my day pleasant and memorable. Highly recommended
We started with the Chicken Juicy Mandi—the chicken was incredibly tender, perfectly spiced, and so juicy . The rice was fragrant and cooked absorbing all those aromatic spices. It’s hands-down one of the best mandis I’ve had—highly recommend.
The Nalla Karam (Nallakaram Chicken) was next-level and addictive. That classic Andhra kick—perfect heat level for spice lovers.
For the vegetarian side, the Paneer Cashew was creamy, rich, and packed with nuts and subtle spices. The paneer was soft yet firm, and the cashew gravy had that perfect balance of sweetness and savory notes.
We rounded it out with Veg Biryani, which was fragrant, well-layered.
Also want to mention Jahnavi from the staff, she was super friendly and very attentive, constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Little things like that really make the experience better. Overall, we were happy with the food and the service, and we’re glad we made the trip.
The ambience is creative, lively, and family-friendly. They even have Mandi-style seating, which makes the experience fun and different. The biryani was awesome, full of flavor and well prepared.
One of the special attractions is the Irani Chai with Bun Maska — a must-try. The chaat and pani puri were also excellent and felt like a nice upgraded addition to the menu.
I am a vegetarian, so I can’t comment on the non-vegetarian dishes. However, I visited with friends who ordered non-veg items, and they really enjoyed the food, describing it as tasty, delicious, and great.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, hospitality was excellent, and the overall ambience was great.
Highly recommended for families and groups looking for a fresh Indian dining experience.
The nali gosh was unbelievably tender. You can literally pull it apart with a spoon. It had that slow-cooked, smoky richness that you usually only get in authentic mandi, but with a beautiful Desi twist. The portions were generous too—definitely great value for money. We liked spicy chicken mandi too; it was so flavorful.
Service was quick, and the staff were friendly without being intrusive. Their maska bun and irani chai are a must-try.
Apricot delight for dessert was perfect. Overall, this is a must-visit Indian restaurant if you are in and around Frederick.
Last but not least, pan is too good
