Special shoutout to Shiva, Mounika, and Manohar for their exceptional, friendly service, they truly made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout our visit.

We had a great dining experience. One thing that really stood out is their dedicated, spacious area specifically for Mandi, which makes the experience feel authentic and comfortable, perfect for enjoying Mandi the way it’s meant to be shared.

We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was packed with bold, authentic flavors. The Nalla Karam Chicken had the perfect spice kick, and the Hashtag Fried Chicken was crispy and well-seasoned. Among the curries, the Malai Kofta (veg) was rich and creamy, while the Hashtag Special Chicken Curry stood out for its depth of flavor. The Vijayawada Chicken Biryani was absolutely satisfying.

We also had the Mango Lassi and Chikko Shake, both refreshing and perfectly done.

They also offer a buffet option and a fun pani puri station, which adds to the overall experience and makes this place great for groups and families.

Definitely a place we’d love to visit again and recommend!

This place hits all the right notes! The location is convenient with plenty of easy parking, and the interior has a nice environment with lovely Indian music playing.

We tried the lunch buffet, which was fantastic—excellent options for both veg and non-veg diners. Everything felt very cost-efficient at around $16 including taxes.

The excellent service was the cherry on top. Definitely coming back!

I recently visited Hashtag India in Houston and overall had a really good experience! The restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere with upbeat desi music, colorful interiors, and a lively crowd that instantly gives you the feel of being back in India. The service was quick and friendly — the staff made great suggestions and were attentive throughout the meal.

Their specialty, the Mandi, absolutely lived up to the hype! The rice was fragrant, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of smokiness. The chicken was juicy and tender, falling right off the bone, and the portion size was generous enough to share. It’s definitely one of the best Mandis I’ve tried in Houston and totally worth coming back for.

On the other hand, I tried their Pani Puri, and it didn’t quite meet expectations. The puris weren’t as crisp as they should be, and the pani lacked that tangy-spicy kick you’d expect from authentic street-style golgappas. It wasn’t bad, but compared to their other dishes, it felt a little underwhelming.

Overall, though, Hashtag India is a great spot if you’re craving flavorful Indian comfort food — especially their Mandi. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, and it’s a nice place for both families and groups of friends. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Indian flavors in Houston, just maybe skip the pani puri and go straight for the Mandi!

This place truly touched our hearts. The food brought back beautiful memories of eating in India. The Baahubali Mandi was the highlight for us — the chicken, mutton, and fish mandi were incredibly flavorful, perfectly cooked, and deeply satisfying.

The chicken and mutton dum biryani had an amazing aroma and authentic taste that felt just like home. The entire experience made us feel as if we weren’t in Houston at all, but sitting down for a meal in India. It was such a special moment that we even took the perfect picture to remember it.

If you’re craving real, soulful Indian food, this place is a must-visit.

We’ll definitely be coming back again and again.

Hashtag India is a South Indian restaurant, famous for its Mandi and floor sitting cabins. Food is good, rice was tasty and portions were large. Ambience is okay. Good parking space. Overall a nice experience.

I don’t have India food really offended, but I can tell this place it’s good because a lot India people going. We order Mandi, and green curry. Those are really good. Mandi the rice is too spicy for me, if you can’t eat spicy, let them know to adjust the level when you order. Self service restaurants with paper plate, I feel this experience not that good in a nice design restaurants.
I try one dessert, it’s a small order with 3 white ball(no picture), I dont like it, weird taste for me.

This was definitely a great experience to eat here. The paneer mandi was excellent, as well as all the other foods we tried. The seating area in the mandi section made the experience better. Have not seen anything like this here in Houston.

Cold Buffet, salty Dal, Bread they made fresh on my request because I don’t eat buttered Nan which was also cold.
There was nothing I found made by someone who knows indian food.
And I believe no one bothered to check on refilling and checking freshness, looks it’s old leftover stuff repeated.
Overall Taste on Buffet was hopeless, let me clear I ate only Vegetarian stuff.
I ate at 13.15 on Tuesday.

Dry and uncooked tandoori platter..they sell fried rice as biryani. Worst service( they gave wrong items). You need to use plastic spoons for serving too. Inside it smells more cleaning chemicals causing discomfort

Absolutely amazing food! This was hands down the best Mandi I’ve ever had. Every bite was full of flavor, and the entire experience was fantastic. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I think the only thing I will say for them to improve is the use of paper plates and the food they serve in which is to go boxes.
It takes the whole dining experience down.
