This Indian restaurant serves really tasty mandi! Since we were a group of 10, we ordered the Bahubali Mandi with fish, Afghani chicken, and mutton. The rice was flavourful and perfectly cooked. Out of the meats, the fish and mutton were especially delicious. The Afghani chicken had a creamy taste it was good, but the other two meats paired better with the rice. Overall, the experience was nice, though the wait time for the mandi was a bit longer.

Very disappointing experience — avoid ordering from here.
Don’t be misled by the fake 5-star reviews. The Chicken Fry Mandi Rice was stale, and the chicken tasted like it had been fried days ago, then simply reheated and added to the rice. The Kheema Biryani was the worst I’ve had — it was basically a bland tomato curry with very little kheema mixed over old biryani rice. We didn’t even dare to try the Special Chicken Biryani after tasting the other two. Moreover, I ended up with a stomach upset after this meal.

I won’t be ordering from here again, and I strongly caution others. We don’t deserve this quality of food in this area.

Response to Owner: This was a take out order served at home and the photo of box is from trash.

Recently bought a cake from here – 10/15. This is the first time in my life I have experienced something so horrific. When we cut it we found that it’s stale and had fungus growing inside and smelled really bad. It could’ve easily caused a serious health issue if someone had ate it. Luckily none of us ate it and only one of us had a bite and he’s suffering from sore throat. We went back with the cake to show them their mistake and they immediately took it and trashed and they were in a hurry to send us from there. They’re just taking customers for granted as they’re the only ones in the proximity and like we’re short of options and they don’t need to maintain good quality or have that fear of losing a customer.
They gave refund for the cake. But what if it led to food poisoning and something serious happened. And the price of this ridiculous cake is $50. It’s literal robbery. I bought it because I was in a hurry and didn’t have much time. I know it’s overpriced. But that’s their trick as well. Pricing it based on location rather than the quality and service. But didn’t expect they’d sell spoiled cake. They cannot simply say it’s a one time thing and they didn’t do it on purpose. If you store a cake for a week. It’s meant to happen. Which we came to know after confronting them.

Note : If possible please avoid buying over the counter baked goods or drinks from this place. Please avoid feeding such poison to kids. I know people will still buy food but at least skip these things.

Recently ordered a single-piece Mandi for $24, and the portion size was very disappointing. The rice was served in an extremely thin layer, nowhere near worth the price, and it wasn’t even served on a proper mandi plate. The chicken piece was just coated in sauce, and the chicken itself did not taste fresh. Overall, the quality and quantity did not justify the price. Very disappointed with this experience.

Had an amazing dining experience at Hashtag India. The food quality and flavors were outstanding, and you can really tell that a lot of care goes into preparing each dish. One of the highlights for me was their pulavs—they were incredibly aromatic, perfectly cooked, and full of authentic Indian flavors. Each bite had the right balance of spices and freshness, making it one of the best pulavs I’ve had in the area.

I also tried their breakfast buffet, and it was fantastic. There were so many delicious options to choose from, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. It’s a great place to enjoy a relaxed weekend breakfast with family or friends. The variety and quality really stand out compared to other places.

The restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and has a warm atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making sure guests were comfortable and well taken care of. Service was quick, and the overall experience felt very welcoming.

If you’re in the Aubrey area and craving authentic Indian food, I highly recommend Hashtag India. The pulavs and breakfast buffet alone are worth the visit. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

I’ve been coming to #HashTag regularly for breakfast and it never disappoints. The value for the price is excellent. The live dosa station is a highlight — fresh, hot dosas made right in front of you every time. The poori is always soft, fluffy, and tastes amazing with the curry.

Honestly, no other restaurant matches this level of quality for the price. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great breakfast!

I traveled from California to visit Dallas and decided to try Hashtag Restaurant (Arbery location). It was a great dining experience!

I ordered the Nalli Gosht, Chicken Juicy, and Mutton Mandi. The Nalli Gosht was outstanding — tender, rich, and full of flavor. The mandi rice was incredibly aromatic and perfectly seasoned, making the meal even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for authentic mandi, this is definitely a place to visit.

The staff also suggested to
try Goli Soda. At first, I wasn’t sure about it, but after tasting it, I was pleasantly surprised. The unique flavors were refreshing and added a fun touch to the meal.

Overall, a fantastic place for mandi lovers and anyone wanting to try something new. Highly recommended!

We love the food here, and the Bahubali Mandi is our absolute favorite. My young kids enjoy it just as much as we do, and it’s become one of our go‑to spots for a great meal. Always a good experience (had about 6 times with friends and family)
