An interesting restaurant which delivers great food on a limited menu. There wasn’t a single empty table and people were queued out the door, with an effort to get thru the traffic at reception.
I was invited to celebrate a friend’s last meal before his heading to the airport for a long flight and almost everything on the menu was ordered.
The beef kebabs, lamb sheesh and lamb chops were ever so tender and melt into the mouth. Chicken wings had a delicious char from the tandoor. We were lip smacking. The prawns looked tame but after a dip in its sauce, the slow fire perfectly complimented its digestion. The sauces were fiery in flavor yet not too spicy.
It’s sinfully good grub however it’s deliciously heavy, requiring a looooong digestive walk but not before you end the night with the kulfi.
It was The Most Amazing Kulfi I had ever tried. Served in a cold metal cup, with that memory of a Bombay cafe, topped with finely chopped pistachios, saffron and rose petals, the flavors are still gracing my unbrushed teeth.
Note: there is plenty of parking behind the building however you gotta get past the traffic in front of the store.

– The flavors were amazing, meat was cooked perfectly till the bone and was super juicy.
– Services was very quick and fast
– A man kept on coming asking us, did someone take your order, how was the food, do you need anything else.
– The food was served pretty quick
– The served it with their special sauces and they were mind blowing.
– The tamarind sauce was out of this world, we even got a bottle for home later.

Lamb ribs are thick and wet unlike their skinny dry cousins found in arab grills. The lamb kebab is so-so, consider skipping. Chicken is the 2nd best thing after the fries but AED85 a full spring chicken – so be warn.

Went there today for lunch after 3 years of hearing amazing reviews. We tried almost everything on the menu & everything was exceptional. Pili pili fries & masala fries, cheese & garlic naana were the highlight & not to miss. Also highly recommend the mutton kebab, lamb chops & the chicken kebab. Everything else was good as well however a bit too spicy for my liking. Highly recommended!

I recently visited Hashmi Barbeque Restaurant and had a decent experience. The food was okay, but the Chooza Chicken was a highlight – it was really good and definitely worth trying! However, I was a bit disappointed with the Spring Chicken dish, as it didn’t quite live up to its name.
The pricing is a bit steep at ₹85 for a full plate, with no options for half or quarter portions. While they do serve a full plate of salad and fries with the meal, I think the price point is a bit high.
That being said, if the prices were a bit more competitive, I think Hashmi Barbeque would be a great value for money. With some adjustments to the pricing, I’d definitely recommend this place to others.

Exceptional Kenyan BBQ at reasonable price. Always busy, due to great food and service. Chooza Chicken and Prawns and PhilliPilli fries are par for the course, but even the naan was soft and buttery. Love the soft tip of (unlimited) complimentary water.
