Overall experience was good. The service and food were good. There were a lot of yummy sounding things on the menu, so I’ll for sure be back to try them out.

So sad to learn this favorite is closing. This place has been a great favorite for so many years. The food is awesome along with the drinks! Jess, the bartender, is amazing and will take great care of you this last week they’re in business! Anyone looking for a reliable, hard working employee; HIRE HER!

Food and service was quick. Four stars for that! The Harvester is an old restaurant with decor to match. Their International Omelet was good and moist. The hash browns crispy top and bottom BUT very oily. Coffee was decent but unremarkable. Two coffees, two full breakfast omlets, hash browns and English muffins with tip: $33. Locals eat here. Visitors might rate it two stars but I give it a 4 on service. Hash brown oil slick in photo.

The staff was polite and accommodating. The food adequate for fake cheese and eggs. The building looked old, outdated and poorly maintained. To top it off they do not give a Military discount. This was our first and most likely our last visit.

Wife and I eat here two or three times a month. Breakfast has always been awesome. We’ve never had a bad meal. Wait staff is always prompt and super friendly. Portions are huge. We always walk out stuffed or with a to go box. Prices are no different than a chain breakfast restaurant but with way better quality. We will continue to come here while we are in gig harbor.

Great breakfast food, and a good place for lunch too. Never had dinner here. Bob’s wrecked eggs are definitely worth a try though, I never expected sour cream and guacamole to go well on eggs!

Also some very pleasant seating in a greenhouse like area. It’s definitely one of the first places that comes to mind when I consider going out to breakfast

I brought the family here to enjoy a late brunch after church, around mid day on a Sunday. The reviews looked pretty good, so we decided to check it out. Upon receiving our eating utensils, we noticed, 1 fork, 2 spoons and a knife had left over food/egg yoke remnant. We brought it to the attention of the service staff, whom promptly fixed the problem. I ordered the chicken fried steak. The chicken fried steak was a bit dry, perhaps a little over fried. The country gravy looked like it had been sitting for a while…kinda off white gelatinous pasty consistency. My hash browns were cooked correctly, but had no flavor, the eggs were cooked correctly and I had “sour dough” toast, which was just white bread served with one strawberry jelly. My wife had the western burger and tater tots, the tots tasted like possibly the fry oil was getting a bit old. My daughter had the American burger, which she ate, nothing really to report on the burgers. All in all our experience here was “okay”. I will continue seeking a mid day breakfast/brunch place that is perhaps a bit better than what I would consider to be at the level or maybe just slightly above cafeteria food.

I remember this place being better a few years ago but maybe I’m remembering big… The food is OK, just nothing to write home about. I’d say its comparable to a Denny’s or a Shari’s maybe a touch better and definitely a nicer atmosphere. Super nice people and lots of parking. Breakfast is probably the best meal they serve here because lets face it, its pretty hard to screw up a couple eggs and toast.

Old reliable. Decent food, good service, clean. Nice bar area, separated from the slightly larger family area. Great breakfast all day. I wish they were 24 hours, but city/zoning probably wouldn’t let ’em anyhow. It’s a regular, down-to-earth place in an increasingly uppity suburb.

The food was great. They have good choices on their menu. On the other hand… the service sucked. As a prior waitress, I wouldn’t have tipped our server a dime if my friend hadn’t. She was friendly when we saw her. Took us standing at the counter for about 10-15 minutes to pay in order to leave because we couldn’t find anyone.
