For perfectly cooked steaks, look no further than Harvest Tide. We came during happy hour which offered discounts on wine and cocktails. There was also a special happy hour menu with wonderful tapas choices. We started with Chimichurri Shrimp. The shrimp was lightly charred and succulent with a delicious zesty flavor. I then followed the tapas with The Man’s Meal which was the ribeye with the truffle potatoes puree. The ribeye was juicy and tender and was overall delicious. We wrapped up the meal with the Strawberry Cheesecake which was a creamy, generous portion with a tasty crust. Service was friendly and attentive. For a steak craving that needs attention, Harvest Tide is an excellent choice.

Your first greeted with an outside seating Pavilion. Here it would appear that dogs are welcome in this area. It is outside and as we all know the beach area in Delaware is Superdog friendly.
Inside your next stop is at a little greeting station where you then are seated. The atmosphere is somewhat of a mix of Farmhouse meets Elegance. We sat at the long Chef’s Table. This enabled us to see some of what was going on in the kitchen. You actually got to see more of the food stylist doing her thing. Her duties were a literal piece of art. She handled each dish cleaning it of any splatters and making it beautiful. We got the sweet potato soup and Rosemary rolls to start. We also got steak, and truffle potatoes. All was pretty fabulous. The taste was fantastic. The presentation was stellar. The wait staff was attentive. You should know going into this restaurant it is a higher end restaurant. So you can expect depending on what you’re ordering $50 up per person.

First timer on Thanksgiving 2025 and I found it to be quaint and cozy.The meal was delicious with an array of various dishes that were so freshly prepared and displayed.The staff was very pleasant and professional and our server,Maria was extraordinary. I definitely will be returning to try their steak and will most likely go back next Thanksgiving!!

My husband and I came here to celebrate his birthday, and it was a beautiful experience overall. The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning such a warm, elegant atmosphere. The food was incredible, and the presentation was top notch.
I did run into a bit of an issue with my steak it had to be sent back twice, once for being overcooked and then again for being severely undercooked. That said, management handled the situation with care and professionalism, and they made sure we were taken care of. Our waitress was fantastic super attentive and friendly.
Dessert was a highlight! The cheesecake is to die for, and my husband’s mousse was a perfect 10/10. Highly recommend this spot for a special occasion like a birthday. All around, a very beautiful place to eat and celebrate!

Our party of six, including four locals, dined at Harvest Tide on a quiet weeknight. While the atmosphere was relaxed and the restaurant wasn’t crowded, the service was noticeably slow — it took over 45 minutes for our meals to arrive after ordering. Additionally, we had to make several requests for a soda refill throughout our time there.
As for the food, there were mixed experiences. The crab cake, which came with a $15 upcharge, was quite small and had more filler than expected. My filet mignon lacked seasoning, and the green beans were also devoid of seasoning and unfortunately not enjoyable.
On a positive note, the Smith Island cake was a hit — rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We were also pleasantly surprised by the Stump Jump Shiraz, which was featured as a special and paired nicely with our meal.

SUPER expensive for absolutely NO reason! The food was a 3 at most! The crab Mac & cheese barely had crab in it & the Mac & cheese was soo bland! I honestly don’t think they used any seasoning on any dish. The crab cakes were small & literally tasted like a ball of crab meat. There was nothing in it. The seafood pasta was ok. Seems like everything was tomato based. I would just get the pasta for the shrimp, that literally was the only thing good on the plate. & they gave us maybe 2.. it just was a waste of time & money.

Really nice steakhouse with an open, airy high end beachy vibe.
The ingredients tasted fresh and they had surf & turf which was our goal. The rosemary dinner rolls were fantastic.
We had a little hiccup with the host at the start, where we were essentially ignored while they chatted conversationally on the phone – like we’re about to spend over $200 here is there someone else who can help us but anyways after that it was great.

Wonderful steakhouse. From the decor, to the menu, this place is awesome. Ribeye was so tasty and the fresh green beans were seasoned so well. Nice wine list as well. The cheese cake is to die for – it is NY style – tall and dense – with the perfect cherry topping!!! Definitely would return.

We had the most wonderful Christmas dinner last night. From the time that we walked in until we left, everything was perfect. We had the three filet medallions with French fries and the oyster mushroom risotto which were melt in your mouth fabulous. I had the crab and shrimp cocktail as a starter which was absolute perfection. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, the crab was delicate but so delicious in their cocktail sauce. For dessert, we both had the chocolate mocha mousse…melt in your mouth deliciousness!
Now, here’s the thing, I am a celiac disorder person who has to watch whatever goes into my mouth. Not one single issue as our wonderful waitress assured me that the chefs use cornstarch instead of flour so just about anything on the menu was doable. I asked our server to tell me what she would recommend, she did, assured me that the crab and shrimp cocktail was perfect for me as was all that she suggested. We talked to folks on either side of us and had a great meal, experience and the loveliest of evenings. We wanted a special evening and we received even more than expected!
