Beautiful and spacious decor. Decent restrooms. They have hand sanitizer and wet naps for customers to use. They do start you with two plates. I suggest trying a little bit of everything first to see what you like. Most restaurants do pay attention to what’s not being eaten so they raise prices or discontinue menu items. Variety of options on the salad bar and hot food bars which is mostly soul food. I wouldn’t go on Sundays because of the church crowd or go too late in the afternoon because some foods aren’t replenished quickly or at all. Cons some fried chicken was undercooked and the cornbread dressing tastes more like Stovetop Stuffing.

I tried this buffet for the first time yesterday and the food was absolutely delicious! Well seasoned, fresh and lots of options. Desserts are amazing too, especially the bread pudding! The only thing I didn’t like is that for some weird reason, they only provide 2 small plates and one set of utensils per customer..and I was confused if those were the only ones you can reuse to get more food (which would be unsanitary). This is strange to me since this is supposed to be a buffet. They have plate and utensil containers at each food station but they are empty. They also bring you your drink…instead of being able to get it and refill it myself. I asked an employee/waiter for another plate and they looked at me weird and confused and said “um..sure, I can give you another one” almost like they weren’t supposed to? And they brought it without a clean set of utensils. This is an issue because if the employee is supposed to refill your drink and bring you clean plates and utensils, you will have to call them because they never check in with your table. And that was difficult because they are all literally running around, looking flustered and in a huge hurry. I also got charged regular price for my 11 year old daughter and it’s supposed to be less for 12 yrs and under. I didn’t realize until later but I clearly said 11 yrs old.

This place is amazing! I live in Niles MI and my family is in Zion IL so we met here for a little family gathering. Something for everybody. It was worth the 2 hour travel not only to see family but to have a great experience here. The chef came around to the tables as well to make sure we were enjoying the food! This buffet did not have your typical dry and just overcooked food. This all felt like something I would make in my kitchen and I worked for a yacht club. 5 STARS IS UNDERRATED! Good food, good price, and good service!

This place is top tier for a buffet. I recently celebrated my mom’s 68th birthday at this location. The service was great, they were able to provide a reserved area, my family enjoyed the food and the place was clean. It was a memorable day for my fav lady and she is very old school and does not like eating out, mom gave a thumbs up! Small critique, more desserts.

Best buffet I have been to in decades! Fall off the bone pork ribs. Homemade Mac and cheese! Meatloaf yum!! Cornbread muffins just heaven. Came here for lunch on Tuesday about 1pm. I can’t believe this place isn’t packed.. the food is wonderful! Place is clean, service is quick and courteous! Atmosphere for me was great, quick with piano music background. I was able to eat and read. Quite relaxing.

The staff at Harvest greets each diner with the warmest welcome and individual hospitality. Our waiter made us feel as if we were the only guest in the restaurant. The food definitely has that fresh home cooked taste, not Mama’s cooking although we recommend this restaurant. The only flip side is the price, “YIKES”! I paid $115 for 3 people. Yes it’s a very good buffet, yes the food is very good, but WHOA” that’s a lot of bread.

My wife and I went today for the first time the ambience of the place is just great and the food is even better. I had the red beans and rice, exceptional fried chicken very tasty. The brisket very moist and juicing. The meatloaf was exceptionally tasty and then the sweets, and I’m not a sweet guy, but that chocolate cake and red velvet that was to die for And you should go early because if you go on a Sunday like I did, you know that the church folks in there, right? lol We will be back soon
