Tammy was our waitress tonight and was awesome, as usual! Steve the bar tender can not be more friendly and nice! Katie is doing a great job! Our food was delicious! If I had to complain ( and I should not) I wish they still carried Bud 55! Other than that! Fabulous!

Once again we go to Harvard Bar for dinner we wait for almost 10 minutes to be seated another 10 minutes to get our first drink 10 minutes more to place an order for appetizers 20 minutes for appetizers to come out try to order another round of drinks server told us I will be right back 10 minutes late comes back to that our order for a round of drinks try to put food order in at that time. And away she goes!! Comes back with drinks and try to order food again and are told that she will be able to do that after she cashs out another table. Comes back 10 minutes later take our order. More than 30 minutes later we ask about our order with another server and are told that it will be another 10 to 15 minutes. Our order did not get put in. So if you add all of this up we are about 2 hours for a quick dinner with our son and daughter. Ended up billing out with a couple appetizers and a couple of drinks with poor service . Two and a half hours left hungry and very disappointed. Thanks to our server Tammy!

Sorry our waitress Tammy not good at all !!!! Thank goodness for the other waitress whom we were able to catch and ask for help. And om sorry but it was NOT busy either. But Tammy did have time to talk with 2 other tables a few times.

I have lived out this way for many years and have always been told to go try the Harvard Tavern. Finally decided to stop in today and we were far from disappointed. Everyone knew everyone.. it was cool to witness that. The staff was super friendly and were on top of refills and checking up on us. The food was great! Burrito was perfect and the Patty Melt did not disappoint. Great food, great place. Would recommend and will return!

Edited: Was 5 star…Herd rumor that they had good food and good people. Harvard Tavern did not disappoint. Steve was excellent ! Had the broasted chicken with loaded baked. Excellent !! Would highly recommend ! Even the corn in the little cup tasted like fresh sweet corn ?? Will definitely be coming back. Well worth the out of the way trip…..Fast forward 3 weeks later. Made the out of my way trip to go have the broasted again. The chicken (not the skin)was like leather. And the skin hard as a rock. Even the corn was horrible. Tiny little, no taste cafeteria corn. The chicken was so dry not a drop of moisture in it. I figured it had to be deep fried.That the broaster was down?After asking the bartender if the broaster wasn’t working. I was shot a glare and told I don’t know. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed. My whole ride home all I could think of was #1 glad I didn’t bring a bunch a people to have this broasted I have been saying is so good. And #2 how can it go 180° like that. I think staff is the answer. Last time I was there it was noon ,not 730 pm. Whole different crew in the front and back. I herd other patrons say there burger was good. So I would say 50/50 shot at some great food and service.
