Haruko Craft Ramen × Umi Tea is Buffalo’s destination for authentic Japanese-style white chicken broth ramen.
Our signature broth is simmered for over 10 hours every day to achieve its rich, creamy depth—absolutely never made from sauces or shortcuts. Every bowl is crafted with fresh ingredients, from slow-cooked meats to hand-prepared vegetables, ensuring clean flavors and consistent quality.
We take pride in exceptional service, a warm atmosphere, and a truly Japanese-inspired dining experience. In addition to our ramen and bubble tea, we also offer a small selection of Japanese snacks, collectibles, and anime figures for guests who love Japanese culture.

We were excited to hear about a ramen spot that had gluten free noodles as an option. We came on a cold day so it was perfect for some hot ramen. This place is neat and a little different. You come in and order on an iPad or from your phone. You can easily customize your order by adding extra, or omitting things in the menu items. You seat yourself and wait for your order to come out. There are a few tables there but not a ton. It was busy so we waited a little while but eventually our food came out. We started with the yakitori negima. It was tasty but some of the chicken was ice cold. Which shouldn’t be possible if the skewers are fired on a hot grill. It freaked me out because I wasn’t sure if it was cooked all the way through. I hope it is precooked and then heated up and charred on the grill but that was unclear. I did send it back and the servers didn’t seem to believe me. They finally brought us back what I returned and it had more char marks and was hot this time. Unfortunately, the thought of possibly having bitten into raw chicken kind of turned my stomach after this. Next was ramen, the portions were generous and everything was cooked well. The flavors were nice and the addition of gf noodles was wonderful. It is by far the best ramen I’ve had in this area. Which is a treat because most of the ramen in this area is very sub par. I’d like to come back and have some other menu items. Hopefully, they will make sure to leave the skewers on long enough next time.

Cozy and super cute ramen and tea shop. The food is amazing and filling ( especially the pork cutlet bao buns). There is always anime playing on the T.V and when you’re done eating you can buy yourself a blind box on the way out. Everyone there is super sweet and helpful. We have quickly become regulars! <3

This Ramen restaurant is a hidden gem! The Ramen bowls are sooo delicious and the bubble teas taste so good. We also ordered the BEST gyoza I’ve ever had which they hand make each day. We went two days in a row…it was that good. The women working there were so pleasant and explained how to order and even gave recommendations. This restaurant did not disappoint one bit and if I could give it 10 Stars I would! We will definitely be frequent customers for sure!

A must visit for Ramen in Buffalo!
I ordered the spicy miso ramen (medium) and it was so delicious! Every element of the ramen is cooked so well. Also ordered the special Cupids Strawberry Lemonade and the brown sugar milk tea. Both so good!
Definitely some of the best ramen I’ve had in a long time, and I’ll definitely be back soon, thank you!!

The food is AMAZING! I have ordered from here before, but recently went to eat in-person and it was even better. The staff are lovely and very helpful.
Super cute place and the karaoke rooms were super sound proof you could only hear them when someone walked in or out.
Drinks are amazing. I loved the strawberry matcha valentine special!!! Will definitely be back soon

This little ramen shop in buffalo is an absolute sleeper restaurant, the staff are so incredibly nice and welcoming. The food was excellent, they have a phenomenal and a very easy menu to navigate. Highly recommend the spicy tonkatsu ramen and the bubble tea is also super tasty. Also picked up a skullpanda blind box, they have other cute blind boxes and they rotate them frequently so they always have new ones to get from popmart and other brands 🙂

I love trying new places around Buffalo, and Haruko Craft Ramen & Umi Tea absolutely delivered. The bao buns were incredible with a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and creamy textures. I ordered the spicy creamy grilled pork ramen, which was comforting and flavorful with a rich broth, tender charred pork, and a perfectly soft jammy egg. Takeout packaging was very thoughtful with everything separated to keep the quality and a thermal bag to keep it hot. Great addition to the Buffalo food scene. Highly recommend.

Spicy miso ramen is delicious! Only reason I did not give 5/5 is because we finished our meals by the time our drinks were brought out. Dining area is also very small, but I did see rooms in the back that can accommodate larger groups .

The takoyaki was good and hot. Creamy chicken ramen was also great. However the miso beef ramen was a little disappointing. As soon as I got the beef ramen in front of me, I noticed the color of the soup. The soup was nothing like a miso ramen base, but rather a thicker shoyu base. The brown sugar milk strike was also too sweet. Tasted like ice cream. Some people might like it but it’s unexpected. Service was average. There was only one lady at the front who explained to us how to use their kiosk and brought us two cups of water in a plastic single use cup, which can be improved by using glass cups. Then she brought out food out and never checked on us again. The interior is very interesting. There’s a little snack shop by the entrance, some anime frames on a wall, and a bunch of musical instruments on the other side.

The ordering process is very seamless. When you come in you can order on a very large touchscreen, each menu item has photos and allows a lot of customization (adding or subtracting items). The ramen is very filling and is jam packed with flavor, overall this is my new favorite ramen spot. They even have amazing take out containers that keep the noodles separate from the leftover broth. 10/10
