This little gem is a staple in Waterloo, my husband took me here for the first time this morning! Classic diner vibes and family friendly. The food is outstanding and the service matches! I ordered eggs, homemade corned beef hash and a side of bacon. Hubby got the prime rib special-that came with eggs and toast. I’m picky about corned beef hash and they did not disappoint! Perfectly crispy and delicious. The prime rib was the best I’ve EVER had, and I mean WOW! Great price and quality to say the least. Their menu is affordable and offers things like omelettes, skillets, pancakes and more! We drove less than 30 minutes and well worth it! Highly recommend this quaint gem!!

I had an excellent breakfast, I liked this place a lot. The waitress was very friendly and checked on me quite a bit, making sure I had coffee. There were a couple of different choices on dairy breakfast specials. I chose the eggs and biscuits and gravy as well as one huge pancake yummy. If you are in the area, I would definitely come by and have a seat.

Great breakfast food. The fishfry is the best in Madison. The soups are awesome. The food is fresh and homemade. The Chef makes the best Chipotle you will ever taste. This place is a real diner which I have been looking for. Oh yeah and the portions are amazing. Kid friendly menu too. You gotta go there.

We started going to the diner when we moved to Waterloo back in 2003. We now live in Deerfield, and we still enjoy eating here! We just were there last Friday for their fish fry. The owner, Scott, is an amazing and extremely kind person. The diner is adorable, cozy, comfy, clean, and it’s filled with a ton of neat things to look at. The food is awesome and they even had vegan soup!

The fish fry is phenomenal. The fries are a top secret recipe. The all you can eat fish is well worth the price. The atmosphere is like a family vibe. The servers were friendly. I’m definitely going back. Only open Friday evening for dinner. All other days are breakfast. The Ham & Cheese omelet is also awesome.
