In 1966, our parents, Howard and Sarah Miller, opened a small restaurant in Hartville, Ohio, which would eventually be named Hartville Kitchen. As word spread of the delicious, homestyle foods they served, the restaurant outgrew its original location. Today, Hartville Kitchen is part of a family-owned and operated group of businesses that includes Hartville Kitchen Salad Dressings, Hartville Kitchen Bakery, Shops at Hartville Kitchen, Hartville MarketPlace and Flea Market, Hartville Hardware, Hartville Tool and Lehman’s. Located in Northeast Ohio between Akron & Canton and at the edge Ohio’s Amish Country, we are the perfect destination to bring your family to experience the Hartville tradition and create new memories!

Very nice experience for a Sunday at noon. Waiting for a table of 6 adults and 3 children was very incredibly fast. All meals were tasty. Small negative was our wait for food. With 3 little children you would think they would rush at least for the kids sake. Table of 12 next to us was seated after us but their food was on their table 5 minutes before we even asked about ours. Was told new kitchen help and they are being trained. We did get a visit from the Grinch, Olaf and Stitch characters which was nice, unless the 2 year old is scared of the Grinch! All in all, very enjoyable experience and food was very good!

Quite the experience to come to an area here, especially on a Saturday, with a very large indoor and outdoor flea market, very large Hartville hardware and lumber and a restaurant that serves excellent food and service. Attached is a store for baked goods and much more. One could easily spend the day here in Hartville Ohio. See pics and videos.

Amazing! Long wait on a Friday at noon- waited about 25 mins in a line before being seated. We weren’t sure how long it would take but I will say it was well worth the wait! We both ordered the roast beef and sides. Everything was amazing and felt homemade. The rolls were great too. You get a nice portion for the price. Our server was very kind! I also tried their orchard apple iced tea and it was such a sweet treat! I will def return! Don’t forget to shop around too! Huge store!

Home cooked, soul comforting foods! Excellent service and foods so flavorful you will want to keep coming back for more! Highly, highly recommend! They are very popular and there is a line to get a table but our wait was relatively short at about 20-25 minutes. They do recommend reservations for larger parties. Two meals for under $50. Consider dessert to go (Carrot cake~can’t pass it up!!)

The restaurant was smaller then i imagined. Very nice, food was excellent. I got the pork chops. Wife got the pork platter,(Manhattan) which was a very big portion. We also got a couple slices of pie, coconut cream and banana cream . Both good. Not just the usual pudding in a pie shell. Sweetness was not killing me.

Get here at open to avoid the lines. Great food fresh pies. A very popular spot east of Canton in Hartsville for soft food dishes.

Awesome customer service from Luis for the ladies lunch. Excellent food and drinks. Excellent dessert. I got the BBQ chicken salad with raspberry vinegarette, French fries, strawberry lemonade and cinnamon bun hot chocolate. Excellent!!!!! Highly recommend. Others got chicken and sides and for their dessert they got lemon mirange pie, coconut pie and carrot cake. ( we had reservations… highly recommend reservations because it was so crowded with people waiting for tables). This was Saturday.

the food is always amazing. at times the waiters seem like they are to busy to actually do their jobs but most times you get a great waiter.
the only thing i do not like is they will bring your sides out before you meat. so the sides will be gone or cold by the time u get the rest of your food.

This was a really great experience. The food is great, service was excellent, and the restaurant had a nice “buzz”. This place looks huge from the outside and once inside, it looks even bigger. There is a large bakery area as well as a gift shop that is the size of a small department store. Every employee we encountered was friendly and seemed to really like their job. Highly recommended!

So great to revisit this for a family dinner after growing up having monthly dinners here. Loved the nostalgia, the meals, the bakery and the shopping! Food came out fast and hot. The summer salad and pie were so good. I strongly suggest the summer salad! Our entire table enjoyed their meal choices. Taylor took excellent care of our large table. Just such a family atmosphere and a blast from the past for us. It just got better by the year :). This is such a staple in the beautiful, quaint Hartville area! Keep doing what you’re doing !
