We’ve often passed by this restaurant and kept it on our list for a special occasion. We finally decided to dine here last Sunday. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations.
While we anticipated the higher price point, we also expected a dining experience to match. The food was decent but not particularly memorable or worth the premium pricing. Watching our steak being grilled by someone wearing shorts and cros didn’t align with the upscale atmosphere we thought we were stepping into.
Overall, we left feeling underwhelmed and not 100% satisfied.

First of all, I would like to apply for a special permit from Google to add a 6th star.
The food was phenomenal, I had the fillet mignon and my girlfriend had the New York strip. we ordered a side of the heirloom carrots, which were like nothing else we’ve ever had. Their garlic bread is just as amazing as the rest of the food.
Let’s talk about drinks. Whiskey sour and espresso martinis were top notch. I’m an old-fashioned kind of guy and they know how to make a great old-fashioned too. If I had to find something to criticize about the food, I would say the mashed potatoes were still pretty good, but not the best i’ve ever had.
Now let’s get to the service part. We both travel a lot and eat out a lot and Service is an extremely important part of the experience. The service at Harry’s was exceptional. Whether it was our server or staff bringing food and drinks to the table, we were impressed with the friendliness and genuineness of the service.
We even spilled a full espresso martini all over our table. The staff handled it with such graciousness and took a lot of the embarrassment away for us. We both want to thank all the staff there for making our experience so enjoyable. We will be back.

An unseeming looking restaurant from the outside, this restaurant has a giant cow statue in the front. Their kitchen is unique in that their barbecue to make the steaks are out in the front and open for anyone to see.
Their menu is very simple. One page only and includes a variety of dishes for everyone to choose from.
What stands out the most to me about their menu is their bread to start. It’s actually bread with garlic butter. Very tasty indeed and different from other steakhouses.
Food and service were good and prices are what you expect for a steakhouse.

I had a fairly mediocre experience at Harry’s. Service initially seemed good, but I was charged $21.50 for a regular cocktail, which the waiter had assured me would be $18 (and they don’t provide a drink list!). The fries were super disappointing and not interesting — I was told they’d be thicker, but they were just plain and uninspired. The steak was supposed to be seasoned in a Barberians steak spice, yet it tasted pretty bland overall, aside from the nice char and umami from the dry aging. For a fine steakhouse, it was a letdown, especially given the premium prices. I always say that I should never eat in Etobicoke, but from time to time I forget my own advice! It’s the little things that make people remember or want to forget.

Our server was Ruth and she is a gem!!! Apart from the great food her personality and demeanour is stellar. What a wonderful beautiful woman her attitude is amazing she made me feel right at home. I will be seeing Ruth and Harrys again!

I’ll start with the steak. Mine was outstanding – maybe one of the best I’ve ever had in the city. So, thank you for the great Birthday steak. And by all accounts, the other steaks at the table were also very good. Caesar salad and the French onion soup, also great. Baked potato was meh – your typical steakhouse tater – they can do better, but don’t try.
That said, the service here is old fashioned, stodgy, unfriendly, and abrupt. Ruined an otherwise delightful time with friends and family.
After our two hours were up, they virtually hoisted us from our seats and pretty much pointed to the door, even though the terrace was empty. What a rotten way to spoil my birthday dinner – you truly are ruiners.
And as for the dinner service, shocked to see how the wait staff catered to the men (which I am one) and made the women feel like second-class citizens, especially the one picking up the entire tab. Shocking!!
So, overall, super disappointed considering I’d been pining to go to Harry’s for some time now.

Pretty cool vibes here, especially the liquor neon sign and the grill which is basically like a buddies backyard grill as you pass it to get to your table.
Steaks themselves were a great selection and provided quality taste, presentation etc. Great steaks!
