Very nice, got there before the dinner rush.
I recommend making a reservation just in case .
The service was very nice , all the service were polite and courteous even spoke to the owner and the lady was a delight. She knew her stuff.
Had the brisket and the cornbread absolutely delicious but before you go, make sure you order the dessert… now I’m pretty particular when it comes to Flan – nothing beats home and it has to measure up to Abuela and all my aunts touch.
But I have to say their Smoke Flan rocks Miami.

Absolutely love this place! Best BBQ in South Florida by far, but don’t stop there… the twists and culinary creativeness makes it so much more. If I didn’t live in Broward I would come much more often. Got to spend time chatting with Michelle as we visited on our anniversary and she was an absolute delight. You can see the love and passion her and Harry have for what they do. It’s an absolute must – go!!!

This is a restaurant that specializes in barbecue and elevated fusion meats. It’s a young couple that runs this place and the food is amazing. We stumbled across it when I was for looking for 5 star reviews for a good barbecue place. Smoke and dough has all the classic barbecue dishes and so much more. The beef brisket is our favorite and they even have a green Molé with the beef brisket if you enjoy Molé. I have been to the establishment several times and we often cater their food when we are looking to impress our guests. They even have some very delicious desserts. The service is always superior and I can’t say enough about how much we love the food. I still haven’t gone for brunch but I heard it’s just as good and delicious as their regular dining. They also have a coffee shop next door that they run as well that offers empanadas, coffee, delicious treats as well. Check the hours to ensure when Smoke and Dough is open if you’re interested in the barbecue. They also have special treats for special nights. I recommend enjoying this special restaurant whenever you are in the area.

My daughter and I love BBQ food so we were thrilled when we found S & D! It is located in the Sabina Shopping Center in Miami. We were greeted by the very personable Brayddy, who helped us pick out our dinner items. We were tired after being at a local pumpkin patch all day in the heat and just wanted to get home and not cook. So we did a take-out this time. It was very well packed and arrived in great shape. Brayddy outdid herself. Both ladies were very nice and helpful.

We ordered and shared the very tender and well seasoned Brisket, which practically melted in my mouth. It was really good! We also got the half rack Baby Rib back…wow, it just fell off the bone and was so delicious!! Very good! The cornbread was amazing, especially with the sauce we were given to pour over it. I have no words. As a side dish for the meat, we got the Truffle Mac n Cheese, which was outstanding. Everything was great!! Last but not least, we unfortunately were disappointed in the Smoked Flan. It had no flavor, how could that be when the other items were so delicious? We each took a bite but couldn’t continue, We have had flan before but this had a strange taste, I’m sorry to say. Things happen. We will still be back to enjoy the ambiance, great service, good music, and very nice staff. Kudos to the chef!

Parking is in front of the restaurant and has wheelchair accessability. They also share space with Empanada Harry’s Bakery. I want some good guava pastries next time!

Pleasantly surprised by this strip mall restaurant in Western Kendall. The menu creativity and interior decor stood out. The beer and wine selection was just right. Brisket mole and pulled pork mofongo were impressive. The smoked flan stole my heart. The texture, consistency and flavor reminded me of my Mom’s version but with a unique “smoked” touch. Staff is young, charismatic and happy to be working here.

Brisket was very flavorful with a great bark and very little fatty pieces. Pork ribs were very tasty as well. Favorite dish easily was the corn bread with the honey butter!

I came here for the first time after I saw a recommendation on Infatuation Miami.
I came with two friends. We decided to try the Miami Spice deal. It was $35 per person for an appetizer, entree and dessert.

Two of us ordered the Arepitas con lechon and the other ordered the smoked croquettes. The Arepitas were my favorite part of the meal! They were so delicious! I could have eaten ten of them! I tried half of one croquette, and they were really good too. Lots of flavor, crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside.

For our entrees, I ordered the rib combo, one friend ordered the Triple Play, and the other ordered the Tamal en Cazuela (corn casserole with pork belly). I think the Triple play is the best deal, but I don’t like sausage. I loved my rib combo. The coleslaw was really good! Some of the best I’ve ever had! The fries are ok. Not my favorite type of fries, but they were good. The rib meat was falling off of the bone. The bbq sauce is really yummy. All three of us had leftovers. No one finished half of their meal.

We all ordered the Tres Leches as our dessert. We had them to go, since we were too full to eat them. They come with a meringue on top. I tried it later at home and it was too sweet for my taste. It was like eating straight sugar. Not for me. I would try the flan next time.

They automatically add a 20% gratuity to the check. Altogether our bills were $44+ each. One friend ordered an ice tea and her check was $51+.

The waitresses were SUPER nice! We loved the service!

The restaurant is nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. But it’s a little small. I can see how they easily get on a wait. If I wasn’t going on a weekday for lunch, I’d probably get my food to go.

If you like BBQ, I highly recommend trying this place. I’d love to go back again.

This hidden gem has been here, kind of tucked in behind several buildings in a strip mall in west kendall. Searching for new restaurants to try during Miami Spice, my wife came upon it , and at first glance the 4.4 Google rating gave her a little pause, however the dishes looked very appeticing. So we ventured over. The place is small, but nicely decorated for the nature of the restaurant. We were promptly sjown to our table and David came to serve us, and told us about there menu items. We opted for the 50/50 platter of Coffe Rub Brisket and Pulled Pork tray. It comes with a delicious (not sweet) coleslaw, chimichurri sauce and guava sauce on the side. The meat had the perfect amount of smoke, not the typical over-poering smoke of some restaurants in which the smoke is so strong that everything ends up tasting the same. The brisket was super tender and delicious. Pulled pork equally delightful. The Smoked Calamary, nicely battered and with a subtle hint of smoke. The star of the night however, was the Mole Brisket, my oh my!!!…I can’t wait to come back and have it again. Every dish we saw around us looked amazing. We most definitively come back to try other dishes, specially some recommended by Michelle who very nicely came to our table to check on us. For dessert we opted for Brownie with Coen Bread Ice cream. The brownie was rich and moist, while i am not a brownie lover, as they tend to be very sweet, still had a few bites and was very good. This place is a must try.

For apps we got the smoked croquetas which were pretty yummy, hot when they came out and had a nice thick Smokey flavor.

For food we ordered the cafecito brisket and the ribs. For sides got the cornbread and the Mac and cheese. Corn bread was delicious, probably our favorite part of the meal – it had a nice sweet and peppery butter and we liked the crumbly texture. The ribs were better than the brisket but both came to the table pretty cold and that was disappointing. Both were nicely flavored but oddly enough not memorable. The mac and cheese was also a bit disappointing, it was cheesy but lacked real punch of flavor – it leaned heavy on the truffle and cheese.

For dessert we got the brownie with cornbread ice cream. The brownie was incredibly fudgy, chocolatey and thick, if you like cakey brownies, I would 100% pass. The cornbread ice cream was an interesting and complementary addition to the brownie and did taste good together, didn’t *love* the brownie.

Our server was nice, she let us try a tiny bit of the beers on menu before we settled on one. However, she became less attentive as the dinner went on.

I would come back to give it one more chance and maybe try a burger and ask that it’s all brought out hot.
