We decided to give this place a try. The best part for us was the service. Our waiter was awesome. The food portions were large too. We ate inside and it was a li warm I’m not big on eating seafood but decided to try the blackened redfish. The seasoning was great, but I preferred my wife’s red beans and rice.

Me and my friend went there on our mini vacation. It was nice outside. The service wasn’t flawless but good enough for the busy night. Food was delicious. So much flavour in every plate we had. We ordered scallops with the slaw. Absolutely loved it. Fried green tomatoes, become one of my favorite. The crab soup is must have. Great location. Is not a tourist trap (we were sceptical in the beginning). No regrets. Definitely will go again.

New Orleans style restaurant with spicy cajun flavors as well as more traditional American fare like salads and burgers. This is my second visit, and both times were great. First time, there were four of us and we sat in the courtyard. This time, just two of us, and we got a table out front along San Marcos Ave / A1A across from the water and Bridge of Lions. What a great view!
Today our server was Nikki, who was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu items and food allergies. I asked for a gluten free menu and she asked if there were any other food allergies. I told her I was allergic to celery too, and she almost cringed. She said that’s a tough one because a lot of their dishes have celery in them. But it wasn’t a problem for me. I looked at the gluten-free menu and chose the scallops with garlic mashed potatoes (GF and celery free). We ordered the bourdin balls (basically sausage, rice and cheese) as our appetizer. Everything was delicious!
On my first visit several months ago, I ordered the cobb salad with the house dressing, which was also very tasty. There was also live music in the courtyard the first time, which provided an enjoyable atmosphere. The first experience was so good, from food, to service, to ambiance, I wanted to go back again, which I did today. Still more on the menu I want to try, so I’m sure I’ll be back again.

Took my Uncle here for Father’s Day! The wait was about 45 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. We sat outside on the patio. I had heard this place was bomb and wanted to try it for myself. Man oh man ……… please add this spot to the list! The service was amazing and the food was to die for. If your ever in St. Auggy…… do not hesitate to try.

Dinner last night at Harry’s Seafood & Grille in downtown St. Augustine.
We sat upstairs in a ‘too’ well lit area but it was comfortable.
They have a beautiful and large outdoor patio but the temp was too low for us
Bethany was our server and she was a hoot w/a personality to match
Entrees were served in under 10 minutes
My guest loved her Crab Cakes and I liked my Redfish as well
If there was a glitch, our service had a very long wait post finishing our dinner
My dinner plate remained on the table until I asked for our tab
Would I come back: Yes, with the caveat that there are numerous great restaurants in St. Augustine to try next visit.

We stopped here off a recommendation and it was worth it!! Friendly staff.. we sat outside and it was pretty cool and the staff was super nice and turned the heater up for us (mostly me lol) and the food was superb!!
I had the scallops and shrimp Orleans with corn cake which I had never heard of before but it delicious- and my hubby had the fried shrimp and grouper- I had a Bloody Mary that was 5 stars all the way- and we had the calamari which I don’t normally like but my friend who recommended this place said I had to try it so no regrets because it was the best I’ve ever tried!! Highly recommend!!
Oh and I almost forgot the banana cheesecake with crème brûlée banas for dessert was outta this world!!

Harry’s is one of those places where the atmosphere and the food hit at the same level.

The courtyard is gorgeous, the lights are soft, and the whole place feels like a little pocket of New Orleans tucked into St. Augustine. The staff is friendly and on point, even when they’re busy.

The food is consistently excellent—flavorful, comforting, and beautifully plated. The jambalaya and the crab cakes are standouts, and the cocktails are always balanced and refreshing. It’s the kind of spot where you can linger, talk, and enjoy the night without feeling rushed.

If you want great food, great service, and a setting that feels special every time, Harry’s delivers.

New Orleans flavor in St Augustine! We wanted fresh seafood – Harry’s did not disappoint. My husband’s order of mahi mahi was firm; its mild flavor was complemented by a lemon cream sauce. I was delighted by the rich, flaky, grilled salmon Oscar (a seasonal offering) well paired with asparagus and Nola rice. There was no wait for seating; Harry’s has outdoor seating for enjoyment of beautiful Florida days or evenings, but can seat 200 indoors (there are two levels each with capacity for 100). Our waiter, Stefan, was attentive and helpful when asked about various offerings. As with much of this city, parking is at a premium but honestly historic downtown St. Augustine is best enjoyed walking…so plan your walk about to include Harry’s! Highly recommend this gem.

Anytime between 2-9pm had an insane wait, we came at 11:30 or so, and we had no wait.

Everything we had was delicious, especially the Shrimp and Chicken Creole, the Louisiana Fondeaux, and the Oreo Beignets. The food was quite rich. The prices felt pretty good too, and portion sizes reasonable (perhaps too reasonable with the Oreo beignets!)

You cannot make reservations, which is understandable. I’d highly recommend the restaurant but try to come in off-hours

They also had a separate gluten free menu, which was small but helpful

We found Harry’s in St. Augustine while searching on Google and decided to have lunch there today — and it was a great choice. For anyone looking for seafood, this is an excellent option. The menu also offers chicken, meat, and sandwiches, but seafood was our main goal and it did not disappoint.

The prices are very affordable, especially considering the quality of the food. The place itself is very nice, with a relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful outdoor area surrounded by nature, which made the experience even better.

Our server, Mike, was extremely attentive and kind, making us feel very welcome from start to finish. The food was delicious — we ordered a seafood pasta and a salmon dish, and both were absolutely spectacular.

We will definitely recommend Harry’s to our friends and look forward to coming back many more times.
