Great burgers, simple menu, friendly vibe
Harry’s Proper Burger does exactly what it promises: really great burgers without overcomplicating things. The menu is small, but it’s more than enough—you can tell they focus on quality rather than endless options. The burger was excellent, cooked perfectly, and very satisfying.
Prices are reasonable for the quality, especially downtown, and the portions hit the sweet spot—not too much, not too little. The bar is separate, which is a nice touch and works well whether you just want food or a drink too.

Best burgers of my life— BUT I would never want to order/eat in person. The music is obnoxiously loud! You can’t order or talk to your friends/family without having to shout. It is like an outside club smh. Better to just place an order online and take it to go.

Nice outdoor area with the Proper Burger food truck. First time visit. Ordered a double cheeseburger smash burger, fries and water. I wasn’t sure about their special sauce so I ordered it on the side. It was great, the whole experience!!! Definitely will return when in the area. Highly recommend for a great burger.

We placed a large to-go order for our salon team from Harry’s Proper Burger in downtown Pensacola, and everything was perfect! The burgers were flavorful, the chicken sandwiches were a huge hit, and the new loaded fries disappeared immediately. Our entire team loved their meals.

We didn’t eat there in person, but we sat at the bar across from it before the Elovaters concert. The smells were amazing. I just ordered delivery from them tonight and I am not disappointed! The tallow fries are killer and that burger is absolutely Proper!

The food is good, but the prices are way too high. My girlfriend and each got a double party burger, one half basket of fries to split, and a drink. Price was $40. We can get unlimited high quality sushi for $15/person.
The burger patties are nice and crispy on the edges, but the fries were cold, floppy, and over seasoned.
I’d be more willing to pay ~$12 each, but $20 is too much.

This is the best burger in Pensacola and I don’t say that lightly. Fries are seasoned to perfection, house sauce is amazing, service was quick, I could ask for anything more!
I got the breakfast burger and it was absolutely perfect. The egg was runny, and the hashbrowns and bacon were crispy. Truly the perfect bite every time.

We so enjoyed the food and there was a mishap with our order but they quickly made it right by us which I so appreciated!
Unfortunately we were only able to eat about half of our meal before (around 6 o clock) the bar right across from the food truck in the same seating area started playing extremelyyyy explicit music and we were there with my friend and our 5 kids under 5! We even asked the bartender tender of that place if he could play clean music for just the next 10 minutes so we could finish eating and get outta there. But they did not so we left. Delicious food though just beware if you have children and care about what goes in their ears

Loved the tallow fries! They did not give me digestive distress like others do. Burger was good. I also got a burger bowl, which I liked alot the next day.

This was the most disappointing experience.
I’ve wanted to try proper burger for quite some time and finally got to.
I ordered the special grilled chicken bacon ranch and the wife a single as a lettuce wrap. We also got an order of tallow fries which we have liked everywhere we’ve had them… ill start by saying we expected to eat half and take half home as we often do. The fries were decent but way over seasoned… we bagged half and when we got home Iit became detectable in the flavor that the seasoning was hiding an apparent freezer burn flavor. 🙁
My wife received a cold single on A BUN and I took it back up to the window. When I showed the girl who took the oirder, she got the attention of the other who addressed the concern with a sort of sideways look half smile and “ok” ,,,, about 2 mins later she gave back the same cold burger on some lettuce,,,, the wife took a bite and spit it out because something was sour…
It was the beef.. it had a strange smell and funky taste…. she was turned off and didn’t want to bother addressing there due to her now low expectations.
My chicken was good,,, but for the price of $13.99 i think two of the same named sandwich at CookOut,, or Wendy’s or even chili’s or Dennys would be as good , bigger and maybe cheaper…. really just a disappointing experience as I could ever have,,, and thats a first time I’ve had a bad review for ANY food truck.. total bill $35 plus tip for a value of about $18
