Great environment! Outdoors! Family friendly.

Ordered the Harrys Cheeseburger stack, with a fried egg, suateed mushrooms, green peppers, ketsup and Mayo.
I also included small fries and a bottle of water..
The meal was delicious, fresh and the staff were all wonderful.
I would most definitely recommend this place to eat!!!!

Well organized, you have a yellow queue on the driveway in the front when you order. The food was delicious. I order the bacon cheeseburger single patty. It comes on a slider size bun. You may need to order two if you’re really hungry. Plenty places to sit in the shade. Yes old fashion outdoor stand. Food was absolutely delicious and hot. Person announcing your order is ready was very friendly! I would stop again.

Harry’s is an iconic piece of Americana. The burgers are very tasty, and made fresh daily.

For a place to be around for 124 years, they must be doing something right, and Harry’s is doing it right. These aren’t massive burgers, more like the old-fashioned burgers you’d have found in a roadside shack in the 40s-70s. But that’s exactly what Harry’s is.

Lots of parking, the order line moves swiftly, and there are lots of tables and picnic benches to sit at. We’ll worth going just for the overall experience.

Harry’s is a great spot for lunch, I had a chocolate milkshake, cheeseburger & onion rings. The cheeseburger was great but the onion rings, OMG they were amazing. Fried to perfection & just bursting with flavor. I’m not sure what they do differently from other spots but PLEASE don’t change it! Nestled in downtown Colchester, Harry’s is set in a beautiful area, if you live far away, it’s a nice drive & you’ll rarely encounter traffic in the immediate area. If you go on a weekend there’s usually farmers markets & other small town happenings nearby. The staff was friendly & efficient. Despite several people showing up & placing orders at just about the same time as me my food was prepared & served to me in a reasonable amount of time. Remember that Harry’s is a seasonal restaurant, open March – October according to their website. They offer plenty of outdoor seating & even have bathrooms around the side. I’m writing this in late September so get your Harry’s fix soon or wait till March!

Growing up in rural Vermont, the few times we dined out, it was at a place like this. That is why Harry’s is one of my favorites!

I went on a warm Tuesday afternoon… and so did a lot of other people! There was a line and a few minutes wait for the food, but no one seemed to mind.

The food is always good, the service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are about what you would expect.

Biker friendly!

Please note: they accept cash only but there is a secure ATM on site.

If you want an old-school style burger then definitely you should try this place. All ingredients were fresh. We had tried the chicken sandwiches and a veggie burgers and both were great however we felt burger bun can be better. They have a good parking spot behind the store and they have enough sitting area but its open area. Just keep in mind this store is open from March to October (the last day is 10th October for this year)

Legendary Burger spot that’s been around for over 100 years. The burgers are delicious and pretty unique. It’s a great place to bring your kids with plenty of outdoor seating.

This Drive-In is one of our new favorite places. Wish it was closer. Burgers are fantastic and my wife’s Lobster Roll was Loaded with lobster. The place was packed, but lines moved quick with multiple windows. They serve a lot of burgers and they all looked the same… delicious. They do it right. I ordered the double bacon stacker with hot cherry peppers. I finished it, but barely. No room for desert!

Where to start? This joint has been open for over 100 years so how could they get so many things wrong? For starters, the hot dogs don’t fit in their little cardboard holders and the hot dog itself is smaller than the bun. The bun is longer than the hot dog and very tall/deep. Then, they put the condiments on the bottom of the bun and the hot dog on top so by the time you grab it and take it to the table, the bun is completely saturated and falls apart when you bite into it. Had to eat the second dog without the bun and I asked for both hot dogs to be burned and neither were. The burgers are essentially sliders that they charge normal burger prices (and in some cases, over normal burger prices) for. Definitely add salt and pepper to your burger because, although juicy, the burger lacks flavor. All in all, there is absolutely nothing special about this place be it the flavor or the prices that warrant a second visit for me. It’s sad when the best thing at a place like this is the soda and the French fries. Atleast they got the fries right.

To respond to Harold’s response: just like my order, you got your response wrong too. I wanted the hot dog burned, not the burgers.
