We were in the area and got curious about this restaurant that’s been here since 1954. We ordered the corned beef and the tri-tip. We lined up to order and then sat at a vacant table. The place is huge with lots of tables and high ceilings. Parking is not a problem. The food we ordered had generous servings, and they were surprisingly flavorful and the meat cooked right. While they do not have waiters, friendly staff were going around asking if everything was okay. We were glad we tried this place and would come back!

Omg, we lived in RWC for 3 years and never stopped by. We thought it’s one of those overrun, loud touristic restaurants. No, it isn’t! It’s a buffet where you get for $18 a 3 course meal where I chose the Roastbeef with a real potato salad and mashed potatoes. The salad from the salad bar included and on top I chose a chocolate cream pie. For 2 people including tax, we paid $55. Where do you get this quality and amount of food in the bay? Military and senior discounts. The staff was super friendly and I think they have plenty of returning customers. We will be back soon! Thanks

Harry’s Hofbrau has always had a special place in mine and my familys hearts. We have been going to eat or take out here for almost 50 yrs. Sadly, the one near my house, in Saratoga CA closed a few years ago leaving a huge hole in our heart. So, when we need a fix, we drive over to the Redwood City one and fill up. You cannot get fresher or tastier food than what you get here. Freshly roasted beef and turkey everyday, with yummy mash and gravy, and dont get me started on that tender and creamy stuffing for the turkey. We LOVE the salads too with the freshest ingredients and dressings. YUM.

I had the WORST experience at Harry’s Hoffbrau! They overcharged us $20 for an extra dinner we didn’t order. The cashier seemed like a newbie, so maybe it was a mistake, but still…I wish it was the only problem.

I love streak salad. Today was first time in a very long time that I have gone to Harry’s. They now offer a steak salad much to my delight. The steak is well seasoned and the salad also has seasoned potatoes that were delicious! Also, to my surprise and delight, it has crisp onion rings. It won’t be long before I go back and I promise to post a picture for you all.

Had a great experience here. It’s a classic American cafeteria with tons of seating and a nice ambience. Portions are huge, fairly priced and tasty. They are very gravy forward. There are employees who will check in to see if you’re doing well or need anything if you dine in. Overall, loved the clean dining area and the great food. Will definitely come back!

The food was really good. The staff were very friendly and they know who there regular people are. Good variety of food and plenty of desserts. They also do holiday meals when it gets closer to the holidays. If you never been it’s a must go. I will for sure go again. Good old fashioned American food. So please if you never been here before please go. They even have t-shirts that you can buy there and they have plenty of beer on tap and drinks so it’s good for the family. You can book your own little private room so you guys can have it like a group lunch or something but it’s very good and reasonably priced so please if you never been please go!!!!!!
