EAST/WEST Oysters, Signature & creative libations were all top notch. Thank you for the experience and I will be back regularly.
I visited Harry’s for a pre-valentine’s day dinner with my husband. Harry’s was located so conveniently near the hotel we were staying at (the Hyatt Centric Wall Street) for a NYC staycation to recharge and reconnect. This place was such a great choice, and after spending part of Valentine’s Day weekend at Harry’s I couldn’t imagine having spent it anywhere else. This is the perfect place to get lost in your date’s eyes, chat the night the away and fall in love all over again.
Wines: 10/10
Pinot Grigio – (Corte Della Torre, Veneto, 2024) It was so tasty, refreshing and went so well with the shrimp cocktail. I would order it again.
Pinot Noir – (Brute Stock, Sonoma Coast, 2023) Delicious and great alongside the lamb chops, I had to order this one after tasting my husband’s.
️ Service: 10/10
Our server was outstanding, warm, welcoming, knowledgable and funny too! He made amazing wine recommendations and made sure we had everything that we needed. I appreciated the way he checked in on our table just enough and left us with enough space to check in with one another. Our server even gave us a complimentary dessert (cheesecake) which was such a kind touch!
Food: 10/10
* French fries – Perfect! Crispy, hot, fresh and just the right amount of salt.
* Steak Tartar – Seasoned well, tasted fresh, I could see the allure but it wasn’t really for me!
* Shrimp Cocktail – Fresh, jumbo shrimp, loved the cocktail sauce. I’m usually pretty big on horse radish so I loved it.
* Lamb Chops – Great portion size. I had mine served medium well, it was still tender. The mint sauce was literally the icing on the cake. So good!
* Broccolini – Just the way I like, a nice bite, not too oily and temperature-wise it came out hot!
* Beef Wellington – I don’t know what I expected but I enjoyed this A LOT lol. It came with two nicely sized pieces, the crust was light and flaky, the meat was juicy and I feel like the gravy was the star. So good and comforting.
* Truffle Mac and Cheese – One of the best truffle Mac and cheese(s?) I’ve ever had. I usually stay away from foods that have truffle in them because the flavor can be overwhelming but this was done so well. I liked it a lot.
* Cheesecake – The PERFECT NY style cheesecake. A good amount of sweetness, creamy yet firm, just an overall great dessert.
* Creme Brûlée – A nice thin layer of caramelized sugar on top, I can’t stand when the sugar top is too thick OR is soft so you don’t get that fun crack when you tap it. This Creme Brûlée was just like I liked it and the cream part of the dessert was a nice soft texture with a nice moderate sweetness. Loved it.
️ Ambiance: 10/10
The ambiance was beautiful and vintage with a hint of today. I loved the moodiness of the restaurant. The decor looks like it’s been there for a while but somehow maintained so well. I felt like I was being transported to another time, in Paris!

❤️ Overall: 10/10
There’s nothing like stepping out for a great experience that feels worth every penny. I would definitely return to Harry’s and recommend this place to my friends and family, especially for special occasions. As a lover of fine-dining I have to say this has been one of my most memorable experiences to date.
I’m actress, I participated in the Law & Order episode that was filmed at that restaurant.
Well love this place

I ordered the Beef Wellington, and honestly, it was beautifully balanced. The puff pastry was perfectly crisp without being dry, the beef stayed tender and juicy at a perfect medium-rare, and the subtle truffle aroma in the sauce tied everything together. Served on a silver platter, it looked as good as it tasted.
If you’re a steakhouse lover, their prime ribeye or NY strip is also worth trying the char and crust are spot on, and you can really tell they know their meat.
Finished off with the bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream warm, creamy, not overly sweet, and the perfect cozy ending to the meal.
✨ In short: elegant, nostalgic, and delicious!! a place that truly captures the spirit of classic New York dining done right.
With the above being said, rib eye and porterhouse will always be much more flavorful if you are looking for stronger taste from your steaks.
That said, the staff were all very kind, and if you’d like to visit, I’d recommend trying dishes other than the Beef Wellington.
Highly recommend this place.
We were fortunate to have Omar as our server—he was much more than just a server; he felt like our personal concierge, anticipating our needs before we even expressed them.
The food, especially the steak, was perfectly cooked, and the side dishes were delightful. Each bite was a reminder of why this place is so celebrated.
The service was flawless. Harry’s offer of convenient check-in for briefcases, backpacks, and coats right from the outset was invaluable since we came straight from the office and debated whether to return to our hotel first.
The drinks, coffee, and desserts complemented the meal beautifully. Although we didn’t indulge in wine, the restaurant boasts an impressive selection curated by an expert sommelier.
Overall, Harry’s is an absolute must-visit. From the exquisite food to the impeccable service, it’s a perfect 5-star experience in every way.
Thanks to James Walsh! I forgot to mention that there were no open spots that evening, but he got us in!!
