Local supporting customer with VERY disappointing service and food order. We support all of our small businesses, but not bad service. If I could give zero stars for service I would due to man at the front and the service we experienced for a takeout order. We have dined here for 20 years, had a wedding party event, and family events upstairs. Tonight we placed a to go order for our wedding anniversary at home due to our schedule that we were told would be 45 minutes (Completely understandable and acceptable time). Walked in to get our order and the man at the desk says it’s not ready and “we got busy and just put it in so you’ll have to wait” (45 minutes after we placed it). The waitress comes out to confirm items put in for our order at that moment. No apology. Nothing from the man at the front, he could have cared less because he got busy and we were not in the restaurant. Even if it was an accident, which we all have, no apology or respectful conversation. We’ve never been disrespected and overlooked as a customer here before. But as a consolation prize, he said “at least your food will be hot”. Well, the cheese was not in the soup, it was in foil on top so I couldn’t melt it to eat in the soup because it was not very hot, they missed a side item, AND they did not put chicken on our pasta order (one of 3 main dishes). Very disrespectful staff member, with a disappointing food order over $100 for our family.

Harrison’s in Tipp City absolutely earned every one of these stars. The place itself is warm, inviting, and surprisingly polished, the kind of spot where you instantly feel taken care of.

Our server, Christine, was a rockstar from start to finish. Super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and efficient without ever feeling rushed. She made the whole experience seamless.

The food? Outstanding. My son crushed the salmon. My wife devoured the Jumbo Shrimp.
My father started with the French onion soup and couldn’t stop raving about it… and he and I both cleaned our plates with the pork tenderloin sandwiches. And Mom? She loved her Beef Tips with noodles, the evening’s special, and said she’d order it again in a heartbeat.

We walked out full, happy, and already talking about our next visit. Harrison’s is an easy recommendation for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Terrific small town restaurant. Nice environment. Cozy, historic and warm feeling. And terrific food. Don’t expect anything exotic here. But do expect fresh foods with a few things that are unique, such as the house dressing and ruben rolls (actually made in house as they should be).

This is a place where you can feel like family and be served what feels like a home cooked meal. Whether that be a steak, burger, salmon, or onion soup. The home cooked flavors here fine from quality fresh ingredients. Dining here is simply the baseline for what every family owned small town 5 star experience should strive to be. And special requests such as a burger as a lettuce wrap will be accommodated. That’s a plus! Eeyore shall return.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Harrison’s over the years. Many locals have bragged about the burgers and wings. My wife and I had a little lunch date.

The good: got the wings in the “rowdy” sauce 4/5. Great beer specials. $2.50 draft. Cheese curds on special $7 bucks shareable portion.

The bad: service was slow and in attentive. I had to ask for several refills on water etc…

I definitely go back and try the dining room and grab a burger.

Total exp 4/5!

First timer with friends on a busy Friday night. Our friend had made reservations in advance so we missed the 45 minute wait. But… definitely understand what the wait is all about. Definitely a must stop again!!

Update 9-4-25… we at great second visit for lunch! Cabbage Rolls and a Cowboy burger. Lindsey C provided awesome service!! Thank you…

When you’re roaming around the north Dayton suburb of Tipp City, you are bound to get hungry and while there are chain restaurants you can visit, a better option is one of the local dining spots. One that I visited with my family and liked is Harrison’s Restaurant, located in downtown Tipp City.

Harrison’s menu consists of American style food, with appetizers, soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, entrees, etc. There is a full-service bar, too, so you can get just the right beverage to match your tastes and pair with your food. The interior is divided into a bar section and a regular dining section, with a good deal of seating. Be sure to check out the daily specials. There is one for each day of the week and the deals are quite good!

With its brick interior and photographs on the walls, from the past, Harrison’s has an historic vibe. This is one of Harrison’s standout qualities. You feel like you have stepped back in time, and it does give the restaurant a cozy, comfortable feel. For parking, just look for a place on the street. It shouldn’t take too long to find a spot.

I enjoyed my food at Harrison’s and my family members felt the same. The City Mac and Cheese I ordered was cheesy and satisfying. Other family members enjoyed their burgers, salads, and desserts also. Another standout at Harrison’s is the friendly, courteous service. The wait staff timed everything just right- I was never waiting for a beverage refill and the food was served in reasonable time.

Harrison’s is right in the heart of downtown Tipp City, and it has much to offer the hungry tourist. Locals love it here, and a visit makes it easy to understand why. Tasty American food, attentive service, and a comfortable, historic atmosphere make Harrison’s worth a visit.

While traveling back to Georgia & visiting a friend in Tipp City, he decided to take me to Harrison’s, one of his favorite dining establishments. The location is right downtown in the main business district.
After being greeted by the friendly Hostess, we were promptly seated.
Upon a recommendation by our lovely server, Aimee McIntosh, we both chose the Walleye. For appetizer’s we had French Onion & Chicken Noodle Soup. Our sides were a loaded Baked Potato & Sweet Potato Soufle. From dessert we both had the Creme Brulee. All I can say is, everything was absolutely delicious & prepared perfectly. Aimee was very polite, professional, and just a Sweetheart. Thank you Harrison’s, & Aimee, for giving me an amazing dining experience…. I will be back!!

Traveling to Michigan from South Carolina and stopped in for dinner. Great place, friendly staff. Our waiter was awesome, friendly and attentive. I forgot his name but he did a great job.

The food was excellent and a nice selection of beer.

Highly recommend.

My friends had touted this as the best wing place in the greater Dayton area, and I don’t know that I would go that far but they were pretty darn good! 99 cent bone in Tuesdays made for a great excuse to stop in and they were very accommodating for our large party. I got 5 of the spicy garlic(not really spicy) and 5 of their rowdy(a blend of all their sauces) and a house salad to balance it out. The wings were delicious, definitely high quality/perfectly cooked wings. My only caveat is I personally prefer a bit more sauce on my wings but dunking in their what tasted like homemade blue cheese more than made up for it. I don’t think I’d quite give it my favorite wing place in Dayton, but I would definitely recommend!
