So our experience at Harrigan’s Pub was pathetic at best. First off, I’d like to say that our server(s) played very little part in our extremely negative visit to what appeared to be an upscale Irish Pub and the only thing I can say is that it was sad to oveously see how worried to losing their job they were to authorize taking a twice attempted entree off the bill! Fish and chips and my friend ordered the Guinness stew. Our food came and what seems to be chock fill of meat, were just potatoes and pasta. My fish and chips was hands down the worst example of such a popular dish that should be a grand slam in any authentic or even moderily capable kitchen of its do called caliber. After kindly telling our server that we wanted to notify them on the amount of meat served and how the fish was mushy and honestly inedible, she insisted that she would bring us additional meat and a better (single piece) of fish. Well that was an exact copy of the discussing battered matter that was passed off as fish the first time! After informing our server that there was zero change in the fish and that I was diabetic requiring some sort of protein, she could only say we can talk to her manager AFTER given a check in the full amount! Well what I’m about to say is absolutely true and accurate… This guy with a manager type shirt on comes to our table with such a pompous attitude and absolutely no intentions of correcting the situation…did exactly that! I told him that I was diabetic and literally came in with a 70 blood sugar and all he could say was he couldn’t do a thing and walked away. This is the part where I apologize to the rest of the restaurant which had filled in at that point because I made it perfectly clear that this was a beyond ridiculous response and unacceptable on every level. Do yourself a favor and eat at McDonald’s at least you’ll know it’s gonna suck beforehand!

it’s very rare that i leave a review but i had to this time, we decided to try a new place tonight and everything here was AMAZING! our waitress was so so sweet she took great care of us. our drinks, appetizer, entrees, and dessert were all phenomenal we haven’t stopped talking about all of it and will absolutely be returning! i’m also fairly impressed that at 5:30 on a friday night they got us right in with no wait and everything got to our table with good timing.

Harrigan’s Pub is a classic Irish Pub. They offer traditional Irish dishes along with contemporary food selections. The bar area has large screens all around with the hot sports events. They have a big selection of beer on tap. The service is better than most and very personable. The food is excellent quality with generous portions.

Harrigan’s is a great local spot, and the vibe is very homey. We’ve eaten there a lot over the years and never had a bad meal or bad service. Would definitely order the burgers.

Very local spot in Sea Girt I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Happy to say this place has kept up with the quality and is still a must when I’m in the area. Friendly staff and owner and always someone to talk to at the bar, great draft list… grab and Guinness and strap in. Seasonal Irish staples shine but if you’re looking for some awesome dishes try the sliders and sizzling sliced steak (always cooked right). They offer Trivia and live music which makes this place a fantastic visit any time of year and always a good time. P.S. the French onion soup knocked my socks off

Showed up in our Sunday best (attending a wedding), and all the patrons were looking at us like we were definitely in the wrong place. But we needed an hour or so to await for a reception at another location. They prepared a couple tables for us in a hurry, and promptly got us our drinks and appetizers.

Passing by at lunchtime and decided to. stop in and try the place. WE WILL BE BACK!!! Food was Good, Service Great and atmosphere Great. Quaint Irish pub.
Back again. Only minor negative was we sat near a speaker and the (music???) was nothing but a deep bass sound. It wasn’t overly loud, just annoying. I wouldn’t call music.
But I’d still recommend the place.
Don’t sit near the speakers.
