First: if you can get Kimber as your server, definitely make that happen. She was the absolute best !
Second: food was pretty good. We had a larger table of 7 and everything came out together with zero errors. Fantastic !
Third: if you are suggested to get the sautéed mushrooms, get the mushrooms. Phenomenal ! That was truly the star of all of our meals.

Very disappointed in Harrigans tonight! Ordered the black magic cake to go and just now opened the box. For $11 this is a tiny sliver of cake! I’ve had this cake several times and never received such a small portion. Pretty ridiculous and I’ll definitely remember this when choosing a restaurant next time.

We’ve only lived in Lubbock for 2 yrs and 4 mo. This is by far the best steak I’ve had since we’ve been here. Plus the service was outstanding. My wife and I actually shared a meal and they split the man in the kitchen. Typically the steak we ordered came with one side and choice of soup or salad. For an extra $7 they split our meal and each half hour one side and choice is soup or salad. It was still a lot of food for each of us. Our waiter, Strother was very attentive and check on us to see if we needed anything. I can’t say enough for things about it while experience tonight.

The waitress was nice. Our starter came out with mushrooms. After I told them I was allergic they took it back to fix it and just took them off instead of making it over. But they missed one on the plate. Manager got it remade correctly and after that no issues. My steak was great and the wife’s pasta was ok but she will definitely try something different next time.

Our dinner experience started with a wonderful Bavarian dark bread and cinnamon butter. The Starters we chose were a half order of Zucchini Chips and half order of Mozzarella bites. For drinks we had a Chilton, Blue Moon, house Margarita, and water. The Starters were promptly on the table along with our drink order. All was plentiful and quite tasty.
Main course consisted of two house salads, Chicken del Mar with rice pilaf, sautéed vegetables and the Mesquite Smoked Prime Rib with the New Orleans potatoes. Dinner was well prepared, flavorful, and delicious.
Our server Mia was very helpful and happy to be serving us. She’s great! The experience was very satisfying. I highly recommend!

This was my first time here. The food dishes were huge and the sweet bread and cinnamon butter were delicious. The waitress was exceptional! She made sure that my drink and my daughters drink were filled. She would stop and check on us. It started raining and a gentleman found an umbrella and was happy to take us to our car if need be. I was glad to have a good experience. We will be back.

My Son-in-Law and I chose to eat at Harrigan’s this past Friday evening. We accepted the fact that we might encounter a very busy time, but we were seated very quickly and had a most gracious server. I chose Harrigan’s because I wanted a good chicken fried steak and had read good reviews about Harrigan’s. I ordered mine and specified that I wanted the gravy on the side. When our server brought our meal, my entire plate was saturated with gravy. everything on the plate, the steak, the New Orleans potatoes. all were covered with gravy. The steak batter was so soaked that it was soggy. The steak was very tough and difficult to cut or chew. Because the staff was so busy and we already had a longer than normal wait for our meal, I did not send my plate back. Suffice it to say, that it was the worst chicken fried steak that I have attempted to eat in a long time! The best part of our evening was our server who did her best to cope with a very pressured evening.

We had a reservation for 11 at 6:00 pm on the Saturday after Christmas. Salads took an hour and a half. Food took over two hours. The restaurant ran out of baked potatoes. The chicken fried steak was bad (freezer burned?). We’ve been going to Harrigan’s for over 20 years and it is usually great. This was a REALLY bad night for them. Our server did the best she could so not her fault. Short staffed due to holidays.

Start to finish our experience was wonderful. We got there on a Friday night about 7 and expected a wait. We enjoyed drinks in the bar area and were seated before the given wait time. The open view kitchen was great entertainment as we ordered appetizers, dinner and dessert. The staff was excellent, Richelle, the manager, was so kind and personable when she came to visit our table and ensure our experience was going well. Great for a date night. We will be back!

I wanted to tried this place with my friend for awhile. Food was very well portioned, and it had that comfort taste, but it was a bit on the heavy side. So you may want to share some plates. They have salad or soup with the main entries. The place by itself it’s very enjoyable, it has lots of seating for small and large parties, although the vibe it’s in the dark/candlelight side. The bathroom were super cute and clean. Our server was extremely polite and servicial, they did take a bit to seat us although the place was not full.
