Delicious eats with a great outdoor patio. The steak and eggs dish was decent but the meat was overcooked and lost its texture and quality.

The fries were delicious and the chicken sandwich was good.

The house salad was decent. Felt like it was missing something. Type bland.

Service was good. Server was attentive

Drinks were good too. Great spot for small bites, drinks and to hang out in the patio.

Parking can be somewhat of a challenge but feasible.

Our first time trying Harper’s and we will definitely be back. Pre-fix was the perfect amount of delicious food – salmon, French onion soup (one of the best we’ve had), and the homemade bread was outstanding. Great vibe and super friendly service. Check out happy hour too!

The atmosphere is dimly lit with low music surrounded by low conversation. There’s outdoor seating in the backyard which is perfect on a nice day/night. The service is friendly & attentive & the mixologist drinks are top tier!

I ate at Harpers last night. It was the worst dining experience The workers were so rude on the phone and even less polite in person. My salmon was inedible, my friends burger was raw, and my other friends pork chop was uncuttable. Not only was our waiter impolite, he was also unhygienic. He picked a wedgie and continued to use the same hand to pass our food. Above all The prices are insane for the type of service we had. Would never recommend.

So let me begin by saying if you live in the area and haven’t visited this place, you’re doing a disservice to your existence!
Sorry for being dramatic but hey, shame on you!
I went in tonight looking for a mean classic Old Fashioned. What a woman has to do to find good drink these days!
But to my relief, this place had Toni working behind the bar who served me the perfect, no exaggeration here, Old Fashioned. As much as I loved the notes of the drink, I fell in love with the cherry. Upon asking I was told Sarah, the genius behind not just the cherry but also their cocktail menu, was around. She was kind enough to tell me her recipe for those delectable cherries. Now if you want to know more about those, you have to visit Harper’s! I am only giving this review for free, not Sarah’s perfectly crafted cherry recipe!

I ordered Harper’s Burger for dinner. The burger was splendid to stay the least. The fries were well done as well, they were so good that I had to stuff my insides because I didn’t want them to go to waste. Forgive me Father, for I have gluttony-ed!

I also happened to meet the owners tonight. Ajna is a sweetheart. Muki (I hope I am not butchering the name) is incredible. Edi could use some work but he redeemed himself by offering to split with me an Old Fashioned on the house. I’ve never heard of anyone splitting a drink with me before, and I do not wish to split a drink with an owner of any establishment ever again. But I can’t deny that all three of them were very gracious, as were Toni and Sarah.

They have incredible wine tastings on Thursdays. A must visit spot if you want a good drink or just need to decompress. The ambience will definitely help you unwind.
This place is no fluke. Go experience it for yourself!

I always viewed Harper’s as a solid restaurant that had avoided the downfall (in my opinion) of other restaurants in the Westchester area and beyond whose new owners come in and raise the prices and give you less. Sadly, Harper’s has fallen. I ordered my go-to duck dish and was so disappointed that at over $40 came with 3 small duck pieces (slightly undercooked) and with underwhelming couscous at the center. It is an insult to a customer to blatantly presume that a customer will pay these prices because they can afford it and not because it is worth it to come back for more.

I must add the service was so friendly and attentive that, including the company and conversation, made the intimate dinner a pleasure despite the food not being the highlight.

Arrived on Mother’s Day to find the brunch menu had been doubled (in price). Okay, special day special brunch maybe? Nope. Menu was reduced from the normal and doubled plus 5. For that I received “trout dip” which was smeared on one piece of small burnt toast, a dry chicken thigh sandwich that was not seasoned, and two mini prepackaged cannoli’s. My partner’s 65 dollar piece of french toast was inedible because it was only cooked on one side.

We didn’t really get the opportunity to talk to anyone because they were obviously understaffed. The whole dining room seemed to have trouble flagging someone down. Food was getting sent back. In retrospect it makes sense when someone other than our waitress dropped off our food and apologized in spite of that particular course being delivered in a timely manner. They probably knew what was going on and likely wasn’t on board, or knew what they were delivering was sub par.

No one in that dining room was happy. I was saddened at the realization that everyone else seemed to get it at the same time, we been brunch bait-n-switched (Brunch-N-Switch trademark pending). Buyer beware at this establishment, but YYMV. Their dinner service might be fire, we’ll never know.

To review; understaffed, price gouged, inedible food, friendly but sad staff.

Nice place to sit overall, but I wouldn’t want to eat there.

The new owner must have a contempt for their brunch crowd which I get. Super basic people getting day drunk (which moms should get a day to be turnt if they choose)… But if that’s the case, don’t be open for that crowd, because I’m going to tell everyone I know to never step foot in this establishment ever having the experience we had.

You don’t understand, I’m going to start conversations with strangers from now on that begin with “Don’t eat at Harper’s on Main, lemme tell you why”…

i went because if the reviews. WRONG MOVE!! They must be fake. Or the patrons need glasses and dont eat at really good restaurants. The place is dirty!! Nothing special. Would not go again. Dining room is a 2 out of 10. Very run down interior and not very clean. The table for 14 takes up too much prime real estate. The booths have ripped seats. Has a side area behind a curtain that was unappealing. The outside dining patio area needs an update. Food is a 4 out of 10. Eh. Champagne Cocktail and Old Fashioned were nothing special. The appetizers came before the cocktails. The chicken liver toast was mushy and unappetizing. The mushroom toast was just ok. Both could be small entrees—very large for starters. The burger was dryish. The fries were good but VERY salty. The orecchiette pasta was tasty and cooked perfectly. The pork milanese was weirdly spicy. Very odd restaurant. Had a good crowd on Saturday night, not sure why. Do not recommend.

This is a lovely spot in Dobbs Ferry with a patio you must sit in for dinner. Only 4 stars because the food is quite expensive for what it is and where the restaurant is. Burrata was good but far too firm and the burger was tasty but had to pay for any kind of toppings. The atmosphere is incredible and the staff were so kind and let us sit and chat for a long time. Also constant water refills which is a sign of great service. Almost no vegetarian options on the small menu which is disappointing.

Wonderful brunch experience with our family on the way into the city. Easy to find street parking. Welcoming greeting and friendly, attentive service. Their brunch prix fixe is perfect if you want cocktails. We chose mimosas which were just the right mix of OJ and bubbly. All our food choices were delicious. Definitely recommend and would return when in the area!
