Food was good and hot! Catfish was fresh and hot. Mac and cheese good. Chicken bowl was good. 2 things….the food was a bit too salty and the dude working wasnt too friendly , other than that I will return and try again

Ordered on door dash. I got the wing dinner with greens and Mac and cheese. I didn’t get any greens or Mac and cheese. Just a bunch of fries. The wings were as thick as my thumb nail. Barely any meat. Polish boy was from GFS. About a teaspoon of coleslaw on it. Also did not get my sauce.

Very unfortunate for a new restaurant on the Westside. Wanted to give a “Soul Food” spot a chance. Very disappointed at the offerings on the menu for it to be a Soul Food place. Menu is only fried food items. I wanted some food that wasn’t fried but whatever. I ordered something simple hoping to be in and out. Quesadillas and fries. After 45 minutes I was literally 2 minutes from just leaving and letting them keep that $14. I ordered to go but waited inside and noticed the kitchen staff just chatting away. The 2 older ladies were pleasant but seemed to not know what was going on. When I received the food the quesadillas were average at most, the fries were hot. I didn’t receive condiments nor plastic ware with my order.
Management please double check your menu. There are misspellings and most offerings don’t describe what you’re getting. I noticed there are not any “dinners” like chicken and sides, etc. everything seems a la cart. The breakfast menu only has names of menu items and no descriptions. See photo of menu.

Let me start by saying the food was AWESOME! We arrived when they were opening the door and were the first patrons there, the staff or owner, not quite sure was very welcoming and helpful. But the wait was a bit long, but worth it…OMG, my mom had the catfish, cabbage and fries. My daughter had wings, mac and greens and I had loaded fries. Everything was great! I will be back hopefully I won’t have to wait so long for my deliciousness next time.

Came in town from out of town, googled soul food near me, this location popped up. We decided to give it a try. 10/10. Everything was seasoned to perfection, chicken was fried hard just how I like it. Y’all should def try it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Great food I would have taken a photo but it’s all gone. I highly recommend the chicken Quesadilla with sour cream it is delicious. If you don’t like waiting for freshly cooked food call in its not fast food it’s Soul Food! You can have a drink at the bar while you wait if that’s your thing. Prices are a little high but most freshly cooked food spots are usually like that but they do give you a decent amount for your money. The atmosphere is clean, mellow, & calm I’ll definitely be going back.

Their Instagram Photos are totally AI and misleading. I thought this was going to be a great experience like they had just posted 5 days before. There was maybe 1 bottle of liquor that had something in it as you can see in the photo I waited an hour for 10 wings and they tasted like burnt grease.

Food was alright if they would lay off so much salt it would have been better the green and green beans were super super salty…Mac n cheese was good so was chicken wings and fish these 3 items werent super salty. But BIG TIP yall dont need to add paprika or what ever that seasoning is all put on top of EVERYTHING it doesnt need it at all.
