So, I really love going to harolds here in Lafayette Indiana as im from Chicago. Normally the portions are decent but this is skimpy and the gizzards don’t seem to be fresh. I ordered a four piece catfish dinner with fries and coleslaw and a small fried mushroom. The fries were soggy and underneath the soggy catfish the piece of bread was on the very bottom. It was soggy coleslaw was one spoonful. So I will not be going back to this place.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! The customer service was god awful! Felt like I was in the wrong for ordering which is the last thing I want to feel while getting food. If you happen to stop by and see Elizabeth, she just might disrespect you. Also the food was discolored and the texture was disgusting. Never coming back to this awful establishment!

Small restaurant focused on take-away food orders, but a good deal of inside dining tables also provided, all with easy handicap access. The Fried Chicken was excellent: done properly, moist inside & crispy coating. The French Fries were also very good. I did not have the Catfish or Perch, but I’ve heard good things. I will agree with other reviews about tge too small portion of Coleslaw; this needs to be addressed. Prices are quite reasonable. The staff was super friendly & helpful. Everything was very clean & well kept. I will gladly return again!

My boyfriend is working in the area and we have been staying here about 2 weeks. We have already had Harold’s 4 times and are returning for the 5th. My bf is obsessed with the wings and gizzards and me the wings and shrimp. 10/10 everytime

I ordered the catfish and shrimp combo not only did they not have cocktail sauce for the shrimp which was the main reason I ordered it, but the charge too much for poor quality food. I wanted mild sauce since they had no sauce for my shrimp and was charged 59 cents extra when it should be included . They only gave me a handful of fries that hid under the soggy pieces of catfish that I wanted fried hard. I’m so pissed, the only thing I enjoyed was the shrimp but it was eaten without my desired sauce . 4/10
