I was visiting a friend in ATL. She was excited to know of a place to eat and have drinks that was open late on a Sunday night. We arrived around 9:15pm. We were seated right away, but the server that came to the table was very quick to look at her watch and tell us what time the kitchen would stop serving. No one was really friendly. The music was extremely loud, and we watched the DJ and the bartender doing Hookah in between serving people. The drinks were good. I had a good small salad, but one person in our group received an incomplete order. She ordered shrimp and fries, and only received fries. We assume the server couldn’t hear the whole order due to the loud music. We didn’t complain because it didn’t seem like it was worth their time. I was not impressed, and would not recommend spending money there.

Harold’s was just ok overall. I visited on a Monday night and the bar was already packed. About 45 minutes later, the dining area was also full. The waitress seemed overwhelmed, and the drinks were not the best.
The atmosphere was cool with dim blue lighting, and the DJ was definitely bumping, which added good energy to the space. I ordered 10 whole wings, which were tasty. However, for two people and two drinks, spending $180 felt like too much for the experience.

My friend and I met here for lunch. We arrived right at 12p.
Tuesday is taco Tuesday and they had Tequila specials. I ordered whiting and wings and she ordered catfish and wings. They were out of whiting . I got gizzards and wings instead. When the food came out our wings were not done. We sent them back and they were nice and crispy. The fries were very light, May have been the new grease but they didn’t taste good. They give you less than 2oz of slaw, they may as well take it off the menu. Everything was seasoned so well. The hushpuppies are so good!
The server didn’t update my meal on receipt so I made sure she updated it, the gizzards were a little less expensive. They automatically add gratuity so check your receipts!
I would go back if in the area but wouldn’t go out of my way.

Harold’s was a great experience. Jasmine and all staff were extremely pleasant and sweet. Everyone was very down to Earth and inviting. Food was amazing and very fresh, drinks were also good. The inside is small, and menu is limited but you soon forget the size of the establishment with the amazing service food, drinks, and hooka. I will definitely be back!

We found this suggestion via Google, after our original plans changed. This was THE BEST fried fish I’ve ever had. It was so good that we went twice. Kee was our waitress the first time we went. She was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. The second night we went, there was 7 of us who went for dinner & drinks. I can’t remember our waitress’s name (blame it on the strawberry Hennessy, which was amazing ) but she was awesome as well. The ambiance was amazing and so was the dj. He played all the classic hits, and we sang along. We plan to stop by the next time we’re in Atlanta.

This place is a scam! It’s the bait and switch for me! If you’re going to call it Harold’s it needs to be Harold’s. The food was disgusting in every way. I threw the whole thing in the trash and I was hungry. I ended up eating ramen. I was pissed! They used old batter that had clumped up, so there were chunks of burnt batter attached to my chicken. The chicken itself was to be well done, but it wasn’t. The fries were gross and mushy. They super soaked them in sauce to hide that they were old. They use yellow potato bread and the slaw was pinkish with a yogurt flavor. I’ve been eating Harold’s my whole life and I’ve never seen anything like this. Nothing about it was Harold’s and nothing about it was good. I was literally robbed! On top of that I called to express my displeasure and was told the manager would call me back. Lies! I’m still waiting on that call.

Loved the lounge atmosphere—ideal for late-night eats and drinks. The fish was on point, and the fried okra was delicious. Definitely a chill bar worth stopping into.

Good not good. Salad in a french fry tray. Hot sauce were packets. All good ( fries, chicken and fish) cooked on same old grease..Drinks were over priced and weak. 1 shot was $16 in the middle of the afternoon when the special was for $5 shots. Then they had the audacity to place auto gratuity for 4 people. That’s a small family not a party size. Not pleased at all. Not worth the complaint because wete there for a conference. Will NOT be back

First time visiting today. The strawberry Hennessey was excellent. The food was tasty…. not many options as it relates to eating ALL carbs. No substitution on any food options. The portions were okay. Not necessarily would say Bang for the buck… Enjoyed supporting black owned business.
