A classic, no-frills local spot that feels like a true piece of the Gulf Coast. My wife and I stopped in for a beer, curious to check it out after seeing it on Google Maps.
The bar has a definite smoky, dive bar feel, which gives it a lot of character. We were told it’s a popular late-night spot for tourists, especially since it stays open as long as there are people drinking. The bartender was friendly and very attentive.
While it was a neat place to experience, it wasn’t quite our style. The indoor smoking was an issue for us, as it’s not something we enjoy.
For someone looking for a genuine, laid-back, and old-school bar experience, Harold & Lillian’s is a great place to check out.

Stopped by for a cold one after seeing their sign on the highway. Had a great discussion with the owner and locals. Their canine mascot “Go Home” just passed after 15 years and they were celebrating his life. Amazing story- this place has been re-built three times due to the hurricanes. Katrine wiped them out but with their amazing will – they rebuilt again to open in 2008. A must stop – enjoy the southern hospitality and give support to this cool and unique place.

We’ve been several times since. If you’re a big people watcher like I am and want a great laugh with out judgement, you’ll love this place.
We drove from Pearl River, LA to watch our great friends Eric Sharp and Johnny Ringo play. Everyone accepted us into the family and we loved it. The bartender was awesome and we had a great time.

The place was great. Awesome bartender Sadie was amazing. Didn’t order food, so I can’t say anything about that, but karaoke was Awesome with Keisha. Will definitely be returning.

Great place to hangout with friends or alone. They’ve got a pool table a jukebox and live music sometimes. My wife introduced me to this place it holds a special place in her heart and it’s grown to have a special place on my heart. We visit there everytime we get to go into town in Mississippi. Service there is exceptional.
