Got seated right away at the bar, which was what I expected for Valentine’s Day anywhere. Staff was friendly, but busy. No alcohol options at the moment, as they are having their license renewed for serving. (?) I settled on the Black Tea with assorted fruits as a drink. It was pretty, but had some super-sweet syrup at the bottom that you need to stir so you don’t get it all at once.
I started off with the Shrimp Gyoza and the Takoyaki. It took almost 20 minutes for these to come out, and to my horror, the Takoyaki were *frozen* in the middle, and not even hot on the outside. I spoke to the manager about this, and as expected, she blamed it on how busy they were. What can’t be blamed on V-Day is the fact that their $9+ appetizers (which probably come in a 40-count freezer bag) aren’t made in house. The gyoza are out of a bag as well, and when I opened one up out of curiosity, it was full of mysterious white mush, with no telltale pink flesh of actual shrimp. Three pieces of takoyaki, and six mystery meat gyoza for almost $20.
Next I got the Eel Avocado roll and the Spicy Crunch Scallop roll. I made a point of asking if their “crabmeat” was actually real crab or just imitation, and was told it is just imitation (like most places these days.) It’s even difficult to avoid, with one page of the sushi options only having 3 or so menu items that don’t use it. You get 6 pieces each for $9 and $11 respectively. It was fine, but the “spicy crunch” had no crunch to it. I also had the small bowl of mushroom soup, and it was tasty for what it was. Light, earthy, with slices of mushroom and tempura onions that gave it good flavor.
Lastly, I settled on some ramen. I got the Spicy Miso Seafood Ramen, and it was lovely! The shrimp were sooo tender and also a good size, the scallops were decently sized as well and they were melt-in-your-mouth perfect. There were chunks of octopus too, nicely cooked and not rubbery. The broth was delicious and full of flavor. I will say, the closer I got to the bottom of the bowl, the saltier it got, so I couldnt finish it all.
It was a bit noisy at the bar since there was a direct line of sight into the kitchen where you could hear and see the bustle and people calling out orders. There is a whole hibachi side to the place as well that can get loud at times.
The ramen was great, but I probably won’t come here again.

We’ve stopped at Harmony Steakhouse twice now (once for Hibachi and once for sushi) and received friendly service both times. We were able to get seated quickly by opting for the dining room one time and the sushi bar the 2nd time. They have huge, delicious sushi rolls. We have tried Monster, Spiderman, Seattle, Rainbow, and Everything Tuna so far. Note the notice on the front door that explains how to open the entry doors one set at a time. There is a strong suction and it takes a little muscle. It was freezing outside when we went, so I imagine that helped keep the cold air outside and not drafting through the restaurant. The clean, nice-smelling, warm bathrooms were appreciated:) We’ll be back when we’re in the area.

Hands down one of the best hibachi restaurants. We were greeted when we entered and left the restaurant. The server was very attentive. The food was delicious. The chef was enjoyable. They made it a great time and celebration for my nephews birthday. The bathrooms were clean. They made my food in the back without any issues due to my dietary restrictions.

My son and I stopped by for Sushi and Sashimi to share. I was fabulous, and we ate every bite. He had oolong and I had jasmine tea to go with our meals. The accompanying salad and soup were very tasty. As always the Harmony Roll was great.

Not so great in terms of quality of food, especially sushi, wasabi, edaemame. The wasabi was not at all fresh, tuna rolls clearly appeared as if they were pre-made, not at all fresh. Asked for drinks menu and they said they dont serve drinks (it was 8pm). The only thing I loved was the Brussels sprouts. They were amazing and the only thing that appeared freshly made, hot and tasty.

We miss the Michigan road location so much that we went up to the Whitestown location. We usually go for the lunch special (3 sushi rolls for $18, and lunch hibachi). The sushi is always great. The hibachi can be hit or miss with the meats being overcooked. Overall you get a great portion size for the lunch price.

This place is a must stop. The staff here are so friendly and so on top of everything. You’re ever in Whitestown you should absolutely stop in and visit. The food is fresh made and it comes out very quick and you will never have a better dining experience.

Absolutely disgusted. Ordered $100 worth of food through DoorDash. We received everything we ordered however, there was what appears to be a cigarette in the fried rice. We notified DoorDash and were credited. Tried contacting the restaurant multiple times and you can’t get ahold of them, phone line is busy. Safe to say we won’t waste our money here anymore.

I will preface this post as it was a late lunch. Service: we sat on the hibachi side and we sat there for about 10 minutes before we even got water. I believe they were hoping more people would show up to seat them with us. But nobody did and we sat there for some time. The finally took our order only to wait a little longer. We finally got our soup and salad. This just doesn’t seem fitting for a party of 2. The food wasn’t all that great compared to other places of similar in style. The building is nice and clean though

Harmony Steak House – Always Outstanding!
I’ve been coming to Harmony Steak House in Whitestown for years, and it never disappoints. This place is consistently top-notch – easily my go-to spot whenever I’m in the area. The quality of the food is always excellent, and the experience is just as impressive.
Today I had the California roll, shrimp tempura roll, teriyaki chicken, and chicken fried rice – everything was absolutely delicious. The sushi was fresh and perfectly prepared, and the teriyaki chicken was packed with flavor and cooked just right. The chicken fried rice is another favorite – hearty, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients, just like everything else on the menu.
The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming whether you’re dining in for a quick bite or a longer meal. You can tell the team here takes pride in what they do – it shows in every detail.
