This is perfect WI supper club vibes if that is what youre looking for.
We had to take our youngest here because his name is Harlow too. We were absolutely smitten after meeting the owner, Harlow who then chose to come take a pic with “little Harlow” and gifted him with a supper club shirt that our son is absolutely jacked about because his name is on it.
We got our cocktails at the bar and placed our order with the waitress. After placing our order for dinner we opted to let the boys play at the claw machine. After a few failed attempts the bartender popped over and “fluffed the machine” – an act I have never seen done in my life and promptly led to both boys walking away with two new stuffed animals.
We got the homemade chicken and wild rice soup and it was delicious, chicken in every bite.
The homemade bread is to die for and was still warm when it came to the table.
For dinner my husband ordered the steak gorgonzola – it was literally incredible. The sauce was thick and delicious. I had the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection with delicious twice baked potato.
I can’t say enough about the service we received, the perfect WI supper club vibes, and the food. We will definitely be back.
Even though they don’t muddle their old fashioneds, they’re still very good.
For the Friday fish special, we ordered a full order of deep-fried haddock and a half order of broiled haddock. Both came with a potato choice, coleslaw, and rye bread. The fish was cooked perfectly — the fried haddock had a crisp, flavorful batter while keeping the fish flaky, and the broiled haddock was tender and well-seasoned. The only miss was the twice-baked potato, which was overcooked and a bit hard.
We also ordered the fried shrimp entrée and the ribeye. These meals included soup, salad, and a potato.
The ribeye was on the thinner side but cooked spot-on, seasoned beautifully, and had a buttery flavor that really stood out.
The clam chowder leaned more toward a cream-of-clam style than a traditional chowder, but was still tasty.
The fried shrimp was classic butterflied shrimp, simple and good.
After dinner, we had to enjoy a classic supper club ice cream drink. Harlow’s has a unique twist where they turn an old fashioned into an ice cream drink, and it was surprisingly delicious, a fun and flavorful take on a Wisconsin staple.
To top it off, they brought out complimentary homemade toffee cookies, and they were so good, a sweet little touch that really made the experience feel special.
The service is what truly sets Harlow’s apart. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming, and our server, Audre, was especially great: upbeat, informative, and genuinely happy to be there. You can tell the whole team takes pride in what they do.
Harlow’s Supper Club is a true hidden gem and absolutely worth the drive. We’ll be back!
