Nice funky pub in Peterborough. Was glad to see it was still open. Three months ago it temporarily closed, so I was relieved it was open the other day. Interesting decor and friendly wait staff. I had a light lunch of a bowl of vegetarian chili and a root beer and loved it. I’ve had their standard fare, and it has been great as well.

My fiancé and I went there at an off-time and it wasn’t busy. Atmosphere was wonderful and the server was so nice and sweet. BUT the food took forever to come out. We both ordered burgers. He ordered his medium rare with chips and mine was medium well with loaded mashed potatoes. His was fine, but mine was served more medium rare and I (nicely) told the server that I needed it medium well, no pink. Also I didn’t get my mashed potatoes. She brought the mashed potatoes out moments later saying they had been done, just not served. She brought another burger out that was still very pink and runny on the inside. It was beyond frustrating. Especially paying $87 for a meal in which I didn’t even get to eat. She took off half of my burger but I feel it should have been taken off totally since it was way undercooked twice and I didn’t eat any of it.

Food was great, but took forever. We went around 3pm which we thought wouldn’t be peak time, and the food took about an hour to come out. I understand restaurants can get busy, but my server also did not serve my drink for an hour. I reminded her of my drink and she still did not get it so I walked up to the bar where my drink was just sitting and waiting for more than half an hour.

This is a must go-to spot if you are spending time in the Monadnock area. One of the best beer selections around, excellent atmosphere, great staff. When I lived in town a few years ago we went almost every night. It’s been a while since I lived in the area, and I was looking forward to catching up with old friends, and grabbing their Blair witch Sandwich. It was great! Enjoy your time there.

a bit of a wait for the food, but the food was great when it arrived; there was plenty of it, and priced quite reasonably. Nice tap beer choices (including the rare Two-Hearted Ale from Michigan) friendly, attentive wait staff and host, comfortable vibe.

I really loved this place 5 years ago, and still do, but it’s changed…. Food takes way too long, even on a not so busy night. Drinks are great and they have a lot of local brewing diversity that makes it feel local. I love the vibe, the decor is eccentric and it’s always friendly.

This place was interesting but I was a little disappointed with the meal. Nacho toppings were tasty but a little.sparse. cheesy garlic bread was dry. I ordered the pork schnitzel and it was.more like a large pork chop (it was tasty but very thick with an unusual sauce over it). The mashed potatoes were the best part of the meal. My husband wanted the special with sausages and mashed potatoes but they were out. He ended up.with meatloaf with a red topping yet his potatoes had a brown gravy. Our waitress was sweet but did not seem.to know what was going on with the specials, menu, or the kitchen. Might have been an off night as it was Wednesday.
