We were passing through this area at dinnertime after a long daytrip to south Georgia. We wanted something better than fast food, and were definitely glad that we saw the reviews for Hardware Pizza.
The pizza was fantastic, as was the cheese bread. We also enjoyed that the restaurant was in a repurposed hardware store that retained some of its historic character.
The only downside is that we aren’t near enough to Lyons to go back and explore more of the menu.

I wanted to give this place four stars because there was no soap in the women’s restroom and we saw the same employee use the restroom twice, but the soap never got filled. My daughter doesn’t want me to tell you that we washed our hands in the men’s restroom. But she does want to make sure that I give it 5 stars because she loved it. The pizza was very delicious. We loved that you could have any of the pizzas in a 6” so we could order what we wanted. My daughter got the Pizza Marguerita which was cheesy, flavorful and bold. I got the Southerner without candied bacon because I don’t eat bacon, though, I can imagine that the sweet and crunchy flavor would be tasty on the pizza. The pimento cheese was gooey spicy perfection and the fried green tomatoes tasted freshly made. My son and husband shared a pizza that had pesto, ricotta, and mozzarella. My husband has a million allergies and is very picky and he really loved this pizza. My son doesn’t say much but he ate a bunch of it. The wood fire grill was legit. The service was delightful. It wasn’t loud because you could sit anywhere and it was very big. It’s basically the only place in town but also we recommend it if you are ever in Lyons.

Calzone flavors were great. We built our own Hardware size instead of the mini. Very stingy on the fillings of the calzone especially for the price. Would hate to see the mini size. Italian type salad large was good. There were a Few beer tap selections. Lots of families midweek.

I stumbled on this restaurant from a Google search, but wow, it surpassed my expectations. What a cool aesthetic! The food is amazing! I’ve had the shrimp a la vodka pizza, the lasagna, their house salad, their house salad with grilled chicken, and the fried cheesecake. Everything has been delicious. I’ve ordered online more than ordered in the restaurant because it’s pretty busy around lunch, but the order is always correct and ready at the time in the email. There is pride in customer service here, and everyone works incredibly hard even as staff numbers may be lower.

Finally, I just found a place that has great food here in Lyons! When I first moved here I was told it was ok bar food! That is so wrong! So much better! They have great pizza. The crust was amazing! Great wings. The best since I moved here!!! Definitely going back to try some pasta… if its as good as the pizza and wings, it’ll be phenomenal!

Delicious hand crafted pizza. Our biggest surprise was that a 6” was literally half of a 12” pizza, instead of a smaller circular pizza like most brands offer. No gluten free options that we saw. It’s not that kind of place. It does one thing and does it well.

I ordered boneless wings and pizza around 6:15 and was called shortly after. I was told the restaurant ran out of chicken tenders so I was able to get a refund or replace the boneless wings. I decided to get a refund, no problem. When I got home and starting eating, I noticed the pizza was not fully cooked. There was still cheese that wasn’t completely melted to the dough, which so happened to still be raw. Highly disappointed in my whole experience.
Update: The restaurant refused to issue a refund. Be careful giving them your business

I got the pineapple pizza and it was the best pizza I’ve ever had. I can’t put my finger on what made the difference in taste from other places. My daughter’s cheese pizza and my husband and son’s calzones were also top notch. I also got the spicy honey peach wings. They were the perfect amount of crispy. The only complaint I have is they are located too far from where I live! The atmosphere and staff were fantastic. I will make a special trip to return here.

First time here. I’m a big fan of Margherita pizza. I’ve tried a lot if them. This is definitely one of my favorites. The wings were ok. Great taste but super oily. The side salad was good just way too much bacon so next time I’ll ask them to lighten up. I know most people would love all that bacon. We will definitely be back!!!
