A Tulsa Original Favorite! We use the same Harden’s recipe that Johnny Harden used when he started this restaurant in 1939. We have a full menu with breakfast. We used to own Pizza Dept and merged some of our most popular items with Hardens, like our Famous Shark Bites, which are Jalapenos, stuffed with cream cheese, secrete spice, wrapped in Bacon! Cooked to perfection. Every Saturday, we have a special that isn’t on the menu! We are located inside Mathis Brothers Furniture at 71st & Hwy 169

The staff is more interested in playing with their phones than getting customers taken care of. This is 2x in a row that we have eaten here and the lady behind the register has stopped taking the order to do something with her phone. This also is 2x in a row where my wife has ordered curly fries, and her of they have honey mustard for them, the lady responded yes and then never put them on the order. Today, they didn’t even have anything to drink. She said there was no key to unlock cooler and the soda machine was locked also. 25 minutes to cook 1 Philly, 1BLT and 1 order onion rings. If we hadn’t bought the Mathis Bros. deal where we get a discount at this place, we wouldn’t have come back. I tried calling the office the last time this happened and after 6 weeks, I don’t think they are gong to call back. Sure would be nice to have some decent service.

The cashier wasn’t a delight first off to anyone.
I gave her my order only for her to bring it out and it be wrong. All I wanted was a bacon cheese burger with no onions. I got a cheese burger with onions. I went up there to ask her to fix it. I even said you can take the onions off and just throw some bacon on there. So they wouldn’t have to remake a new one. She told me it wasn’t put in that way and handed me my burger back and walked off. So hence the review .
The burger was ok and the fries were good but that service was terrible. I will not come back. I was really looking forward to a new burger place too.
I get ppl have bad days but it was more like she just didn’t care and was there for a paycheck. If you’re that unhappy please look for a different job .

Food is really good. Service is NOT. I was shocked to find this little gem inside Mathis. Food was terrific. Homemade fries, mushroom burger and mozzarella sticks. Really good. But the staff could not have cared if we were there or not. No greeting. Cashier just stared at us until I gave my order. No thanks, get out of my sight, Nothing. Brought out our food lapped it on the table and went back to the kitchen. If you’re looking for good food though. Give them a try.

Love the fried pickles and would stop in just for these with my husband from time to time. He however could only eat an omelet because of being gluten free but loved those. Never had an issue ordering any time until today. The lady who he ordered from was rude, informed him that it was too late in the day for an omelet and that basically tough luck. When he asked what was gluten free, she told him she had no idea and just stood there and stared at him. Very unhelpful. Unfortunately she set the tone of a bad visit!

Food better be good cause you’re gonna be waiting all day for it. Assuming of course you can get one of the enployees to acknowledge your presence at all. They may be willing to do the work cheaper but this is the service you get in exchange.

Now who would have thought, that you could get a good hamburger and fries inside of the Mattress Brothers furniture store.
My wife summed up the meal and wrote the review with one short sentence. As she wadded up her napkin and threw it in the empty burger basket she said, “That was a damn good burger!”
My opinion, the burgers and fries at Harden’s are as good or better than most offered in Tulsa. Better than many I have had, that were rated as the best in Tulsa. (Excluding charburgers, charburgers are a different animal)
We had cheeseburgers and the homemade fries. Big juicy patties flawlessly cooked on the flat top. The fries were perfect. Most restaurants don’t prep their potatoes properly for homemade fries. The result, within minutes after serving you end up with a soggy, limp greasy fry. Harden’s does it right. The large thick lightly coated fries stay crisp. The crunchy patches of potato skin add flavor to the already excellent potato sticks.
The furnishings of the restaurant are immaculate and expansive. The styling is extensive and varied, ranging from contemporary to relaxed modern. Decorative art, colorful floor coverings, attractive lamps and vases complement the furniture. Grab your burger basket and drink, wander around until you find a comfortable couch or recliner. If you like to eat in bed, they are available. Whatever you like, put your feet up kick back and enjoy the meal!!

Food is good service is extremely slow, they see you but it’s as if they don’t care or listen to you. You order a burger with mayo and when you get it, it’s got mustard.

I have this deal with Mathis brothers where you get a credit every month to eat there. The first day we ate the the owner was there and in a great mood and very helpful . Got our meal credit and food was great. The next month he wasn’t there . There was a qr code set up where I followed the instructions and they said I redeemed already which I didn’t. To be clear , I was polite but the people there were inattentive. I came in today and it took awhile for someone to come to the counter at 10:30 when I started to order , I followed the prompts from the qr code then as I was told to hit redeem . The manager I guess who was mopping at the time said I already redeemed my credit and I said I just did it. . They usually right down the customer number for there records and I told them I haven’t been in in over a month. There was a little language barrier. When I talked to the owner he originally said he was happy that mathis brothers does that because it’s guaranteed money when someone comes in. The employees apparently don’t feel that way.
