Hardee’s in Lincoln? : r/lincoln – Reddit

The manager on duty said there is no district manager or other to call. I recommend people call Fat Dog corporate, Hardee’s is running someone else’s business and doesn’t care!
Keep in mind. This lady took my order, cashed me out, and handed me my order. Then she acts like I only ordered one and needed to see my receipt to confirm I did, in fact, order two.
I would recommend people stay away from this location.
That’s more than what we routinely pay for two burgers at a sit-down restaurant or even some steakhouses, which naturally raises expectations for both service and quality.
We were the only customers in the restaurant when we arrived, yet we still stood at the register for 3–4 minutes before anyone came over to take our order. During our entire visit, only one other customer entered. That customer stood at the counter for several minutes without being acknowledged and eventually gave up and walked next door to the attached gas station. From a service standpoint, that’s a troubling sign.
I initially wanted an iced tea, but since it’s kept behind the counter and not available at the lobby drink station, I decided not to ask. Based on how long it took just to place our order, I would likely have been standing there another five minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me again. Staff seemed to disappear for long stretches despite the restaurant being essentially empty.
On top of already high prices, the ordering process included the “medium or large?” upsell rather than clearly asking whether an upgrade was desired. As a former quick-service restaurant manager, that stood out. While it’s a common tactic to boost sales, it comes across as misleading, and off-putting to customers—especially when the base pricing is already this high.
The burger itself was decent but dry, and the fries were cold and tasted like they had been sitting for a while. Unfortunately, this closely mirrored our previous visit during their opening week. I believe in second chances and don’t judge restaurants solely on opening-week performance, but it was disappointing to see that nothing had improved.
From a management and operations perspective, the lack of front-counter presence, missed guest engagement, and not good food quality are concerning. None of these issues are difficult to fix, but if they continue, it’s hard to see this location building the customer trust it needs to succeed long-term. We were extremely excited to get a Hardee’s in Lincoln, but We’ll likely stick to Hardee’s locations in Omaha for now since we have NEVER had any of these issues at any location up there. Overall, this visit was disappointing—more concerning than anything.
