They me served a burnt biscuit in the drive thru.
I don’t understand what is happening in their kitchen. Southern-style biscuits are not complex French cuisine.
Bake the biscuits at a specific temperature for a specific amount of time.
Thank God there are more restaurants on the other side of the interstate I-35. I trust & like PizzaHut, Taco Bell, Arby’s, Freddy’s burgers and Primetime Grill there.

Hardee’s is a fave of mine. I worked for them after high school. This location was convenient to stop for food on a road trip. I ordered the grilled cheese bacon double medium combo. My god, it was the most juicy, cheesy, bacony sandwich I have had in a while. The fries, fresh, hot and plenty in a medium. Everything was top notch, right down to the cheese from the wrapper. You guys rocked the night of 11/21/25.

Ordered a mushroom Swiss burger. Drove an hour down the road and stopped for the night. Got ready to eat my dinner and this is what I get. Thanks Hardee’s . Just because your in a truck stop doesn’t mean your customers don’t expect quality. 10.99 out the window !

We waited for about 15 mins. at the drive through window. We get an apology for the wait and get offered an insinuated free pie. After driving off we have burnt hard as rock biscuits and liquid gravy spilt all over in containers. Our bacon platters we ordered were not changed out new biscuits that I was told were not properly mixed were given to us no refund for the meals.

Hardee’s is my favorite place to go for breakfast because it’s a good bang for your buck and I love the biscuits and gravy. However this morning I was less then impressed. I ordered two bacon breakfast platters (a biscuit, side of gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and two pieces of bacon) but got home to find 1. They gave me fries and not hash browns and 2. I got one piece of bacon broken into 4 piece. I understand sometimes you run out of items especially in todays world of shortages however this was not communicated in any way. Not when I order, when I payed, nor when I was handed the bag. So after driving home to find both platters were this way I was a little heated because I was given less then what I paid for. I tried to call to ask if this was just a genuine mistake or what but the phone just rang and rang and rang then went to a busy tone. I hope they get their stuff together because when I splurge and decide to go get breakfast it’s my go to but it won’t be for a while now.
Please speak with your employee’s on communication if this was a shortage issues this could have simply been a “Sorry ma’am we’re out of hash browns but we can sub fries is that okay?” And I would have been able to make that decision myself and give the proper portion or again ask if I wanted to sub the meat as well if that was a shortage. Give the consumer the choice instead of blindsiding them and shorting them.

As a truck driver from Texas, I often find myself stopping at different places, but this restaurant truly stood out to me. Two months ago, on a rainy night, I visited for the first time, and a young lady took my order. Her kindness and warm attitude were as remarkable as her beauty.
By sheer luck, I had the chance to visit again today—something I wasn’t expecting. To my surprise, I saw the same girl, and once again, her behavior was exceptional. As truck drivers, our job is stressful, and after long hours on the road, small gestures of kindness mean a lot. Experiencing such great service makes a real difference,it even helps us rest better at night.
A big thank you to this restaurant and its amazing staff!
