Ordered 3 tenders and a small curly fry (no drink). Total $8.31. Tenders were hot but small. They really should measure those out by weight. Fries were luke warm. Curly fries were crunchy, the rest was mush. Couldn’t even eat it. Note the mix of tots and regular fries hiding under my order of curly fries. Can you believe they charged $2.69 for that? This has been my experience the last 3 times. Will not return.

Great friendly service. Out of some menu items due to shortages but the staff made up for it in their exceptional service. Establishment is clean, drive thru is fast, food is good and their milkshakes ROCK! A+

I have to say I’m extremely impressed with this location and their staff! I had to drive 20 miles to get cinnamon raisin biscuits for breakfast this morning and not only did the staff taking incredible care of me. They also gave my dog some bacon which I appreciate it as well! They were kind and awesome and the biscuits Look amazing! Thank you so much to the staff at this Hardy’s location!

Ordered the Big Hot Ham and Cheese, it was so damn small I ate it in 4 bits, and the fries were eh. The only decent thing was the unsweetened tea I had. Most of their Menu was unavailable, Save your money and go eat at Dairy Queen, U will get much Better Food and Service!!

Terrible experience. When ordering drive-thru service recently, the employee took my order and spit out my total without asking me if I wanted anything else (I did, but oh well). When I pulled up to the window I saw the employee leaning against a wall enjoying a bag of Lays BBQ potato chips. She stood there feeding herself by hand and ignoring me, not taking my money or giving me my drink, and leaving me to wonder what was going on. Finally, when my food came up, she tried to pack it without washing her hands. I had to honk my horn repeatedly to get her attention. I told her what I saw and asked her to wash her hands before touching my food. She got on her huffy bike to (I hope) wash her hands. She returned wearing plastic gloves and an attitude. She was so rude. She handed me the bag and shut the window, walking away. Again, I honked my horn for her because I still hadn’t gotten my drink. She muttered at me that she was getting it but she was clearly walking off. Never said I’m sorry or made any attempt to save the customer experience. She even picked up the paper straw with a napkin to hand to me with the drink to be extra rude. Her behavior was inexcusable and I will never go back. Do better, Hardee’s management!

I used to work here for 2 years back in 2017-2018ish. I’ve never had service so bad I just avoid a store in my hometown. I just ordered a biscuits and gravy and I found a hair in the gravy. Last 2 times I went I was given less than what I paid for, I got large fries and hash browns and received smalls. It’s just not a good place to eat. I know for a fact that they don’t clean or care for the pans and the charbroiler that all the food goes through. Mostly because of all the cleaning it takes to close at the end of the night, which would be understandable if I were still getting the food I paid for at least that won’t make me sick. The morning crew is always better than the night crew.

After I sat down in the dining area a gentleman came in to order, he was standing at the counter and the employee standing there to help was on their phone. I heard him say hello to the man but he couldn’t put his phone down to take the gentleman’s order. You should have excused yourself and gone to the back and had someone else come up to the counter to take your place for a few minutes. Because that’s Bad customer service. When a customer walks in the door you should be ready to greet and take their order. You shouldn’t even be allowed to use your phone up front during work hours. Even if the manager wants you to look up something for them. Otherwise getting on your phone should be for breaks only.
I asked the manager for a comment card and she said they don’t have those anymore. Luckily there was a QR code to scan. I used to work for Hardee’s back in the 90’s and we didn’t get away with any type of disrespect to the customer. We either got a write up or fired for that kind of behavior. Management didn’t put up with that back then. Show the customer that you care about them considering they help in paying your salary.

What happened to this Hardee’s?!? What a mess!
I came in to get a Ham and Cheese with an order of onion rings. I ordered and went and sat down. I sat facing the counter and could see the sandwich was done and in a box while the onion rings finished cooking. When the onion rings were done the girl working asked for tongs several times but instead of waiting for them she went ahead and grab them with her bare hands and placed them in the container. All of this after she ran outside and back in and not washing her hands. I asked her when she brought me the food if she had just used her bare hands on those onion rings, she instantly replied yes, I said that I didn’t want them and she offered to make more. Someone else cooked them and brought the new ones out to me with an apology for the delay. I said no big deal. She then replied with an attitude that the other girl who gave me the original onion rings was outside crying and talking about quitting her job because I yelled at her. Are we serious right now?? I never in the slightest raised my voice, AT ALL! So completely unprofessional. What a terrible experience. Because of that moment, of her having an attitude while I’m not out of line in my desires for receiving safe food, I will never come back. Like I did something wrong?!? What a joke
To the owner of Hardee’s in Monticello….you can’t be proud of this, you know that some changes need made. For the sake of the people wanting to patronize your establishment,you can do better.
For a $10 meal, sandwich and a side…really???

Also I’ve noticed that you only give replies to the reviews that are positive, no attention to negative ones with concerns shows me what we’re working with.
