I had a fantastic experience at Hardee’s on Friday around 11:45 AM. I went through the drive thru to grab some chicken tenders, and everything about the visit was smooth and enjoyable. The automated voice ordering system was impressively clear and easy to use, which made placing the order quick and stress free.
When I got to the window, the staff member was genuinely friendly and welcoming. She confirmed the order with a smile, and you could tell she cared about getting everything right. That attention to detail really stood out.
Best of all, the food was hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered. It’s those “little things” like accuracy and freshness that keep me coming back. Great service, great food, great experience.

Food is ok. But we stopped going there after they introduced an AI-style ordering system that keeps getting our orders wrong and won’t answer any questions. You still have to wait a fairly long time for the food because usually there’s only one or two people working (which they will tell you as if it’s an excuse). If you want a receipt, you need to ask for one.

The few times we have gone, the buns are a soggy mess and inedible. I’m not sure if they skip toasting them like other fast food places, but it makes a difference. We’ve spaced our visits out to make sure it wasn’t just a fluke, but everytime, the buns are soggy. We had to throw away our sandwiches.

We waited 20 minutes for biscuits and gravy. Everyone who ordered after us received their food before we did. Only when I went up to the counter to ask about our food did Shawna ask her staff about it. There was no apology. She just slid our food to me and walked away.

AI Ordering is awful. Frying oil clearly old and gross, leaving the fries crusty and not in a good way. Personnel is practically non-existent and might as well be a robot that could feign empathy and compassion. The laziest operation I have ever seen. Shame on the owner.

We got to the drive-thru at almost 10:30. The breakfast menu is up and we perused it while they waited for our order. Then when we ordered breakfast they immediately switched to lunch and told us they were out of biscuits. Why didn’t they tell us before we perused and got our hearts set on what we wanted?
