I stopped in at Hardee’s this morning and was greeted by the sweetest server, Lay Lay. She had such a warm smile and an upbeat, friendly attitude that instantly brightened my day! My chicken biscuit was perfectly golden, juicy, and full of flavor. Every bite tasted freshly made. The hash rounds came out piping hot, crispy, and straight from the oil, absolutely delicious! Service was quick, cheerful, and efficient, and Lay Lay made sure everything was just right. A wonderful breakfast and an even better start to my day thanks to her! ☀️

I got time today! Walked in around 10:10-10:15 am. Hadn’t been in several months but I had my mouth worked up for the Pork Chop biscuit with gravy. Told the shift manager that inside at the register and I notice another female employee direct a “mean stare” at me because I specified to drop it fresh…the manager went ahead and chastised me for my ignorance in not knowing they’ve quit the pork chop there for about 4 months now, mind you it’s still displayed on the menu above, so I changed my order and said just give me the Steak biscuit, light gravy. The manager then chastised me for my ignorance in not knowing that the steak biscuit doesn’t come with gravy… It’s been coming with gravy for as long as I’ve been buying it, at least 20 years but I digress. I calmly reaffirmed to her , give me a freshly dropped steak biscuit add light gravy. To the point, it was obviously apparent that my order was purposely delayed. I kept an eye on the deep fryer. The second young female that gave me the dirty look passed out the other orders and showed she was capable of being polite but when she passed my order she had it pinched and gave it to me like it was a bag of dirty diapers. Not a word of thanks for my patronage or my wait. Another male customer standing beside me noticed it all, looked at me and shook his head. He noticed the first dirty look and he and I privately conversed of how they were literally seemed upset because I asked for that I was spending my money on to be made with specificity. They had wasted about 20 minutes of my time and as I got to my vehicle I discovered the biscuit was dry, not an ounce of gravy in sight. I took it back in and grabbed the manager’s attention verbally telling her she missed putting gravy on the biscuit, I had asked and paid for gravy, extra. Her response was more concerned that I directed it at her rather than that the order wasn’t done correctly. She had taken my order and I watched her drop the steak patty in the fryer and pull it when the buzzer went off so it was my assumption she made the sandwich. The customer view is partially blocked so I’ll grant her she could’ve passed it across the hot area but still rather than take responsibility for it as the on duty manager having taken the order , dropped the steak patty in the fryer and pulled it she chastised me, “the customer” again by saying and I’m quoting “you mean they messed it up”. I left it on the counter and told her I’d be back after my appointment and I did go back. This time the second female employee that gave me the dirty look was at the register, she never acknowledge me and I stood there for several minutes until another couple customers walk in then she proceeded to greet them over my shoulders and was about to take their order when I had to speak up and ask her if she hadn’t seen me standing there. She said smartly , “she coming” and I said ok but you should at least acknowledge me before you look over my shoulders to deal with the next customer. The manager was walking up at that moment and the young female then turn away saying to me in an undignified and unprofessional manner that “I’m not gonna argue with you”… she didn’t excuse herself, not from the manager or the other customers she was trying to skip over me for. Everyone be damned and then the manager seemed a bit shook, embarrassed and somewhat nervous. The manager refunded my money in cash vs putting it back on the card. I told her that was fine if it made it simpler for her. This visit was a disaster and it’s not the first time. I’ve had trouble at least twice before it seems at this same Hardee’s. What is it about customer service that’s so hard. Why you get mad for me wanting what I’m paying for to be at its peak of quality. This store has ongoing issues that need addressing. I talked with was supposedly a general manager once before by phone after registering a complaint. I’m scratching this place off my list of places to stop by on my commutes. Maybe Loves but definitely won’t be eating from this Hardee’s anymore…good luck

Dirty, slow and even with a screen telling them what to make they still got it wrong and forgot one of my burgers and I showed them my ticket and they said it wasnt on their screen I said im looking at it. They were looking at another ticket. Its all listed by number they didn’t get that. I do not even recommend stopping if your starving

This is the first time I’ve ever tried Hardee’s. No one’s got hair nets, no hats, or general restraints. Burger was compressed for whatever reason. I’d like to have something that doesn’t require a fork to eat, like normal hamburgers would. Regardless, definitely disappointed.

I really don’t like Hardee’s in general but didn’t have much of a choice I was hungry.
Staff was friendlyish. The food though left a lot to be desired. And come on who the heck puts mayonnaise on a breakfast sandwich???? I really wish I would have known that so I could have said hold the mayo. I know my fault for not asking but really would you think to ask is there mayo on a breakfast sandwich????
Compared to their picture on the menu and what you get you can tell they really don’t make any effort whatsoever.

Update October 2024: I was stuck here at the Love’s for a couple days so I decided to give this Hardee’s two more shots. Sure enough, they failed magnificently.
First was breakfast. I wanted to grab a breakfast burrito, but I’d forgot this location only has about half of the Hardee’s menu. I settled for a loaded omelette biscuit. The only things “loaded” about the biscuit were the price. Both biscuits came with the egg and cheese as expected, but as far as the meat they both had 7 or 8 little tiny pieces. A few sausage bits, a few bacon pieces and two little ham chunks on each. My disappointment was immeasurable, and my day was ruined.
The next day I went in for lunch. I ordered a couple Frisco burgers and just like my last visit, they messed up. I asked for no tomato and there was still tomato on it. Not a huge deal, but it’s pathetic how this store just can’t seem to get anything right. I’ve yet to have a single good meal here.

I first ordered a chicken sandwich that had bacon and they told me they didn’t have bacon. So I ordered two famous stars with no tomato or onion and received them with no onion or famous sauce(?) so I ended up having to remove the tomato and go get a couple mayo packets from Love’s so I wouldn’t be eating a dry burger.
This location has also removed their 1/3lb Angus burgers, at least one of their chicken sandwiches and changed to cheaper lettuce that has no flavor and is pretty flimsy. Honestly, unless you’re a die hard Hardee’s fan, just go to Burger King.

Located in the Love’s Travel Center. Dinner was decent. Had the Monterey Melt. A bit on the greasy side. Breakfast was not great. Steak biscuit was dry and cakey on the inside and extra greasy on the outside. Hashrounds had set in their window too long and was gritty.
