Really disappointed with this place. Hadn’t been to Hardee’s for years, and was kinda taken aback by their prices. Ordered anyways – 3 sandwiches was over $20 so figured they’d be top notch.
First the chicken sandwich. It was not only tiny, the chicken was bad. I don’t mean slightly dry or overcooked like you get sometimes, I mean tasted like dry wood. Even the color was off, a weird grey color inside. I figure it was a patty dropped behind a fridge years ago they found and served up, it didn’t feel safe to eat so we tossed it.
The burgers at least didn’t taste unsafe, but weren’t as big or good as the price justifies. Imagine an overcooked McDonald’s double. Why it cost more than $6 defies all logic.
Now I remember why it’s been years, hope I remember this next time.

If you see a green truck and a blue van in the evening, you MUST stop at this Hardee’s! John is an excellent cook who will chat with you while you wait on your FRESH food. Marie is such a sweetie and is always running all over the place with a purpose but makes time to chat with me. These two create such a beautiful atmosphere and they’re so playful and fun. It almost feels like you’re hanging out with friends.
