You know, I love their French fries, always have. I tried the Bacon Double Melt, it was very good – warm after a 15 minute drive + being freezing, food gets cold fast. Point being, it was made relatively recently, within 5 minutes, of my order bc it was still good & hot/warm when I took the first bite. Fries were still hot on a bag nab otw home, all in all – not greasy, hot food for $12. Better than MOST.

clean and friendly restaurant. Not busy and our short wait was because they made the fries fresh. Two combo meals with tax for $17 . the chicken tenders are all white meat and the fries were hot and crispy. Its down the street from the Cook Museum so we decided to get a bite before we visited the museum. the location is very convenient.

Ordered the maple biscuit promo as a sausage egg and cheese. Paid for a sausage egg and cheese. I got a cold maple biscuit, dried sausage, NO EGG, and an unmelted piece of cheese. It wasn’t busy either. There was only 1 other car in the drive through and no one inside, so it wasn’t busy.

The pictures on this review illustrate what I received when I ordered and paid for a “prime rib and cheddar Angus thickburger” … $8.71 for what was represented on the menu picture as a hamburger patty piled high with thin sliced prime rib and melted cheddar cheese on a bed of grilled onions. Sounds delicious right? The picture looked even better than my description on its own placard displayed as a “new” menu item, prominently adjacent to the typical items. Now, I’ve had both Carl’s Jr and Hardee’s at different locations over the years, and have consistently been pleased with my order. In fact, I’ve come to expect an overflowing and succulently messy sandwich in the box. In the 90’s Carl’s Jr marketed the fact that you couldn’t eat one of their sandwiches without dripping condiments everywhere. That may not sound appealing to some, but I love a messy burger. Before I opened this sandwich, I even grabbed extra napkins knowing that I would be challenged to keep melted cheese and prime rib au jus from getting all over my desk. Looking at the pics of the product from this location, you can imagine my disappointment. To be fair, Ashley, the cashier, was exceptionally friendly and polite and I’m certain had no idea that she was handing me such a disappointing specimen of a burger. The flavor and doneness of the burger were acceptable, but did not make up for the lack of “prime rib and cheddar” that was advertised. I will not be returning to this location and I recommend to anyone else considering a quick lunch in Decatur that you continue on to the nearby Jack’s or Arby’s. My two cents.

When is the better Hardy’s that I’ve been at the food was great? The work staff is awesome, and the manager, Gina, manages her crew awesome. I do recommend this place to my friends and I will be back.

Came here for dinner after work (around 6:30pm) and not only was the service impeccable, the burger was the best fast food burger I have ever eaten. I absolutely will be coming back when I’m in town.
