After the last Hardee’s in town closed (*It was a complete dump*) and a brand new one opened, I was holding out hope that they had gotten a bit better. Pulled up to the drive thru at 8:05, girl working drive through finally managed to take my order at 8:14 despite only 1 car sitting at the window. Turns out they hadn’t ordered anything, they were just hanging out and talking.

Sat at the window for a solid 15 seconds with the girl at the open window but talking to their coworker while I was holding my card out. Coworker finally motioned for her to take my card and to pay attention.
Proceeded to wait 15 minutes while they made my food? No comment from them such as “hey, we need to make xyz fresh so it’ll be a wait”.
While I was waiting for my food, I proceed to watch the girl make several other meals while coughing into her hands. Thankfully after she made several shakes for someone, she rinsed them in the sink. At least she made the attempt to clean her hands?
She finally came back to the window and needed to ask what I ordered. Proceeded to give me my food without so much of a “sorry for the wait” but she did give a half hearted “Have a good night” that sounded sarcastic at best.
Checked my bag and thankfully it was all there. Drove back to my place which is a mile away and all of the food other than the tenders were cold.
Notes on the food.
-The frisco burger was the second saddest one I’ve ever had. At least it was “toasted” though, if only for the minimum amount of time needed to make it noticeable.
-The hotdog? That was the worst thing I think I’ve ever seen, but it sure had chili on it.
-French Fries were cold and stale. These had to have been around all day.
-Chicken tenders were hot and fresh and the smallest things I’ve ever seen, and the didn’t give me the bbq sauce. Shame on me for not noticing it wasn’t in the bag.
No thank you to this place. I’m not surprised that they have a metric ton of 1’s. If it could be lower, I’m sure it would be. They should be ashamed, but it’s fast food, and I’m sure no one will care.

Food is always decent, the workers were nice. But good grief… the 3 Pc Chicken Tenders meal is a rip off now. Shrink-flation strikes again! Remember, a few years back, when Hardee’s first added the “100% All White Meat Breaded Chicken Tenders” to their menu? All the fanfair? They were HUGE pieces of chicken! Easily 6-7 inches long, bug around as a half dollar and flaky and tender. They used to be delicious! Well not anymore. They are barely 4″ long, maybe as big around as a nickel and the breading is almost nonexistent. If it wasn’t for the fact that it was a “Tender Tuesday” deal on the app, which made them BOGOF, it would not have been worth the money. $6 for 3 puny little tenders should be criminal! CRIMINAL! Do better Hardee’s. Bring back the big tenders we all loved, or at least mark the price of the 3 pc to $3, and thats even pushing it on the price, IMO.

Order cheeseburger no mustard ketchup pickles only bacon cheeseburger my cheeseburger had a ton of mustard on it bacon bacon all in my package on the bacon cheeseburger the cheese wasn’t even melted so therefore food must not have been hot and had two slivers of bacon on it, in french fries look like they were deep fried three times and then put in the microwave! When I called about coming back to have him fix my order they let me know they were closed and I come tomorrow! I came today to get a full refund because none of the food was eaten I was just a waste I want my money back I do not wish to have food from here at all! As far as me contacting I called back that evening I called today because I had the receipt and was in the area!! I got to the drive through at 8:45PM. This location was supposed to be open until 9:00PM. By 8:50, five minutes later, no one had come to the speaker. I pull around and see two female employees sitting in the eating area. I thought maybe the drive thru was down so I parked and tried to walk in. Nope, the doors are locked. At 8:50PM. So not only did they shut down the drive through early, they refused to acknowledge my presence and couldn’t even say sorry, they closed early. There was no sign indicating an early closure. Also, when I drove around the building, I saw the two employees running to the back of the restaurant and giggling. So, they were avoiding work, costing the company money, and driving customers to go elsewhere. This is unacceptable employee behavior. We didn’t even get our dinner because of these employees’ laziness. That is no way to work or treat paying customers. We wanted our dinner!

So a biggie bag is 5.99 for 2 items plus fries n drink. 90 cents to up size to medium. They put mines at 6.89 plus 1.00 because for another double burger. A rip off and it’s not posted anywhere. My meal should have came to 15.49 not no 17.49. Manager lied saying nothing he can do. The manager n employee was high. Stoner high u could see there eyes right low. So why charge for something that suppose to be in the bag for 5.99 n it doesn’t say nowhere 1 for for the extra double burger. Rip off that’s what they is. … hell they took 25 minutes for food…

To be honest, I worked for a Hardee’s and never saw one so slow. Customers in the lobby waiting for food or to have orders taken. I am currently waiting in the drive thru waiting on my order. If this was Richmond this place WOULD NOT make it. Fast food is supposed to be fast paced. If you got time to lean you have time to fill orders.

Hardee’s breakfast is just top tier BUT you have to deal with horrible attitudes, rolling eyes, zero “thank you’s,” and windows being closed on you abruptly. Lunch/Dinner…the food is meh but the employees are way more pleasant BUT the wait time is UNHEARD OF in fast food. If you’re like me and you only go to Hardee’s sporadically to kill a craving for a delicious BEC biscuit then say a few prayers and grunt through the horrible customer service in the AM. If you’re also like me and you’re only going there because of convenience and you know the food is going to be horrible, you could quite possibly starve while waiting but the smiles of employees are infectious, travel over in the PM…either way…pick your poison.

This is a brand new restaurant. We stopped here because the gas station next door smelled of bad oil. Imagine our surprise that this Hardee’s had exactly the same smell! It’s like both places are getting their fry oil from the same (bad) supplier. Definitely needs to be resolved before we’d consider getting anything to eat at either place.
