We were on a road trip and decided to try Hardee’s. We don’t have one in CA but from what we heard its a version of Carls Jr.
It is very similar but it is different. Food was delicious. We enjoyed it.
The restaurant is your average restaurant. When we went it wasn’t too busy.
It was clean inside.

Went to the drive-thru and got two cheeseburgers, a mushroom and swiss burger, and a small diet coke. It was $16.35 (holy moly), but that is par for the course these days. The swiss burger was 3/4 the size of about a year ago and was it ever salt-laden. But that’s not why I’m writing.
Headed to Dublin down Rt. 100 after eating in the parking lot at Hardees, I got a pain in my gut so figured I better turn around and go to the bathroom at Hardees. I went to the lobby entrance to find it locked. A sign on the door read, “Only drive-thru open due to stuffing.” I stood there a moment pondering the meaning, when the manager, or whoever she was, got up from looking out the window at me, cracked the door and said, “So you can’t read?!?” She then pointed to each individual word, speaking them out loud, before locking the door again.
As the door closed, I said, “There is no need to be so rude.” Look, everyone has bad days, but did you ever notice that when you close the loop on a “u” it becomes an “a”? Stuffing becomes staffing. Yeah, I took 15 seconds pondering the sign.
Also, I’m not sure I’d want to come to work either, if you’re the one in charge that day. If you had given me a chance, I might have explained I only wanted to use the restroom.
Will not be visiting this location again. In fact, this time of year is good to start punting fast food all together. The quality has gone downhill markedly. Prices have escalated for a fraction of original portion sizes, and the nutrition levels are horrendous. I could have gone to Patty’s Kitchen and spent not much more for a balanced meal.

I go through Hardee’s almost every morning during the week. My visit this morning really surprised me. The coffee was so strong I couldn’t drink it. The girls said they were making fresh coffee and had me pull up but no way that coffee was fresh. I put 9 creamers in it and it didn’t help at all. I just threw it away. I tried the new cinnamon raisin biscuits and they were cold, hard and the icing wasn’t melted around them. It was sadly sitting as a blob on top. My egg that is in my sausage, egg and cheese biscuit was brown due to the flat top apparently being dirty. I’m not sure what went wrong in there this morning because normally everything is top notch but this morning, was very disappointing.

Ordered online on Friday just to go pick up my order and be told they have no biscuits available and that I can go online and cancel my order. Although you cannot cancel online. So I call and the manager was very nice and said there us no way for them to reimburse me for an online order to come back and they would replace my meal. I go back a couple of days later and they replace my meal but got the order wrong. Everyone was nice I just wish the orders were correct after all my time spent waiting and that they were more efficient in correcting online orders and information being given out.

Order took longer but I was ok because I thought it was being cooked fresh. No fries were cold and soggy. The burger looked like something that had been put in the fridge and dried out. I was laughing because the cheese didn’t melt at all. I pick it up and it was like it had never been on a burger. Do better…..

The last two times I’ve come here I haven’t been happy. The first time I ordered a wrap and instead of putting shredded cheese they put a piece of American cheese in it and it was so cold and old. This time I ordered a number 4 with extra onions and somehow received 2 double cheese burgers with no onions. Disappointed to say the least and I was also charged the $14 I was supposed to pay the start

I got a double big cheeseburger. I requested no onions. There were so many onions they were on top and bottom buns and literally ONE pickle slice. Drier than the Sahara.

Nothing to Brag about. We had Breakfast, the Gravy wasn’t hot, the Hash Rounds were greasy. We had to wait on the Cinnamon Raisin Biscuits, not sure why. They were Cold, the icing wouldn’t even melt on them.

Hardee’s, but this particular location varies with the time of day and day of the week you get there. They let it operate with just a few people on certain days and you can tell the people are kind, but cannot keep both the drive through and the dining area flowing. Always pretty good fast food though…

Not the best location I’ve been. No one in lobby. No one in drive thru. Yet this is the dirtiest Hardee’s I’ve been too. There is at least 5 staff here. I would think someone would take the time to clean the lobby.
