I was so excited about trying this omelette breakfast sandwich that I saw online. It’s was pitiful and disappointing when I unwrapped it. I got it on a brioche bun bc the biscuits are too dry for me. Here’s what I thought I was getting, versus what I got. 🙁 This particular location is known for being less than desirable. It’s the last time I go there. It’s a shame people don’t take more pride in their work.

The Hardees Biscuit and gravy order here had the least amount of sausage Ive ever had in an order of biscuits and gravy. The hash rounds were inedible, way overcooked hard little crusty rounds of oil and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich that was flat as a pancake, it barely resembled a breakfast biscuit. Go up the road and get a better breakfast at the gas station

Hardee’s has some of the best chicken tenders. They have a crunch and aren’t soggy like some other chains. However, they skim on the fries, not just in amount but in size. Sometimes, you get fries the size of a one-year-old finger. They have to do better.

I try to avoid this hardees like the plague because there is always an issue with service and food. I have a bigger vehicle that won’t fit in drive thru so I have to go inside most restaurants to get my food or have curbside pickup. I went inside and with no one in line in front of me, still had to wait several minutes to order. Given the drive thru was really busy, this wasn’t a big deal. The main issue i have is that I literally watched 5 other people get their orders after ordering after me and one couple who had a similar order to mine, but for 2 people, got their food, ate inside and left before my “super maple bacon biscuit combo” was ready. Meanwhile, all drive thru orders had been going out left and right. I also heard the lady making food say “maple bacon biscuit!” And slid it down the warmer where all the ready food goes to be bagged. The girl up front who had been handling money, after several minutes, grabbed it, opened it to look at what it was, then closed it and put it back. I asked her was it mine and she said no. I stood and waited while more inside customers got their food and when I was asked by another employee what I was waiting for and told them, they opened the same sandwich to look at, then the 2 had a talk about what it was, then with sandwich partially opened, he took it to the back to question the manager then the cook who confirmed it was the biscuit I was waiting for and then wrapped it back up and slid it down the warmer again saying it was that sandwich. Then another few minutes had to wait for hash rounds to cook. I commented that I then didn’t want that particular sandwich cause it was old and her snappy reply of “ain’t nothin cold over here” as she bagged it and got my hash rounds. I took the food bc i didn’t have time to argue about a refund and when I opened it in my vehicle, anybody could tell the biscuit had been sitting for a while. The cheese stuck to the wrapper was already hardening. The super biscuit pictured (and I kno nothing looks like the picture when it comes to fast food) was shown as a bigger biscuit with 2 layers of thicker looking bacon than the regular BEC, what i got was a flat biscuit with single layer of thin bacon. Basically like a regular BEC. And i know alot of people will exaggerate 5 minutes to being 30 min or an hour, I literally had clocked in for my service call when I got into the parking lot and when I left after the frustration, it had been 27 minutes I had been clocked it. There was nothing fast about this “fast food” And I couldn’t stomach the biscuit mainly because I felt like it was passed around like a hot (well luke warm at that point) potato with too many ungloved hands opening it. If it had somewhat resembled what i thought I was purchasing for over 10$ and not been passed around and sitting in the warmer for an extended period of time, I may have eaten it and wouldn’t be writing this but the service and quality here was less than a 1 star. As usual from now on if I want hardees in hopewell, I’ll drive the extra 5 minutes and go to the one downtown, even though this one is right down the street from my house. It had been several years since I visited this one bc of similar issues with service and quality and once again I was proven that this location has just gone downhill for a long time. A huge waste of my time and money. I ended up going to a different location in midlothian, which took all in all less than 10 min from parking to food in my hand and back in the truck. I will not be visiting this location again for probably another year or 2 unless I am desperate and want to be disappointed.

I’m not understanding why are the employees always slow and unprofessional. There would be no cars and it still takes almost 30min to get food. No hair nets are worn, no gloves to handle the food an ppl are on the floor in the back cooking while on the phone. Can’t complain to management because the supervisor was also not in the proper attire. Please fix issues or close it down.

When I first pulled up in the Drive-Thru That items 1-7 along with chicken fingers was unavailable. Since my wife wanted number eight. The big hot ham and cheese combo large. I ordered one of those an extra big hot ham and cheese and two regular hot ham and cheese. Now the place wasn’t busy at all. Still took them 5 minutes or so to come to the window. And still had to wait for my order, When it finally came and I left about 10 minutes down, the road took a bite of the fries they were somewhat crunchy on the outside, warm and somewhat raw on the inside. Went to take a drink and realize I hadn’t gotten my drink. Didn’t feel like turning around since we live about 30 minutes from the Hardee’s. Was very disappointed at the sandwiches once I got home and took them out of the wrappers you can see the pictures of them.

The young lady at the drive thru did not know the correct price of the breakfast food. I was charged double and then disrespected as I brought it to their attention. Horrible food and service!

This is how I received my order this morning. One of the bowls was melted including the top and the gravy was all over the place. All on the bag just everything. The biscuit was hard. Just a sloppy way to receive an order. I will not be going to this Hardee’s anymore. The customer service is horrible. The wait is ridiculously long. I’ve had to wait 30 mins in the drive thru a few times. This location needs new management. I have been going here every morning for months. But I will not be anymore. Get it together!!!

If visiting this location. Use the mobile app or drive thru. You will receive your food before the in store orders. Absolutely backwards. All orders are equal. Not the Togo get done faster.
