Good food good prices wait staff is very friendly!
I had breakfast the eggs were cooked perfectly ( over medium), hash brown’s were like I make myself, maple flavored bacon and rye toast thin with caraway seeds, and it came with coffee, in a large carafe they bring to the table!
Will definitely be back when I am in the area!

Chicken is fantastic! But please, bring back the Hobo burger !! Huge buffet for an amazing variety, and the salad bar had a great selection. Love the soups as well. I tell everyone about this restaurant!

Food good plenty on your plate buffets good salad bar to. But went to there we’d page say open close at 7. I went there on a Friday got there 615. Sign sId open door was lock no lights on. Happen on Friday. Driver from kazoo just think money they lost close on Friday

My husband and I have been coming to HardTimes for over 30yrs. Debbie worked hard for over 40 yrs to make a wonderful place for us all here in Decatur. The food was Always GREAT and very Tasteful. The Hostess with the mostess miss Ross is Great. Sweet and Funny. Our favorite wattress’s are the Awesome Lori and Alli….There GREAT ❤️… We’ve tried ordering over the last few months trying to give the New owners a chance.The new owners came in and changed stuff. Debbie biscuits and gravy was Awesome made with real hunks of sausage NOW it’s tastesless.the sausage gravy looks like they dump it out of a can..Yuck….use to be my favorite go to food. Not anymore .they now use a cheaper Ham in there omolets looks like scrap’s of ham very small very tasteless. It’s sad that a place my husband and I have loved going to is no longer an option for us. My takeout orders are NEVER right and the display looks like a 1st grader threw it in the box. Just sad

Have been there twice after our grandson’s soccer game. Once for breakfast one once for lunch. Breakfast was really good. I had a waffle! Lunch we had the boasted chicken.. both very good! Waitress was nice too!!

One questions why the reviewer needs to add to all of the excellent reviews prior… Great food, fast, friendly service, nice atmosphere. Mega killer breakfast buffet, with lunch items included and a large salad bar with many homemade salad offerings. Just go there. During our 8am Sunday morning visit the restaurant maintained about 90% capacity but never a line. Great efficiency. Staff always working. Get the cinnamon roll…. Good parking. Accessible.

Got here waited 5 mins never seen our waitress had to ask another one for our drinks. Food on buffet dried out tasted horrible. Ask our waitress for a straw never got one had to ask another waitress for one. No lettuce on salad bar. Bacon was burnt. Pancakes dried out. I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. THIS TIME FOOD WAS VERY NASTY AND WAITRESS DIDN’T GUVE A CRAP ABOUT HER CUSTOMERS. SAD SAD 17.99 buffet for dried out food and also burnt
